Well it's design is good enough, I personally would prefer it over others all the way. Regarding display, yeah the new displays are good looking but only because of that, one should not compromise on rest of the features.

Honestly speaking I'm also more inclined towards Nokia 8. What about camera, in gsm arena reviews it seems that it has focus issues, moreover I'm addicted to Pakwheels, not sure how comfortably I can read on 5.3 display. Currently, I'm using redmi note 3 (5.5 inch display)

The only drawback for choosing the Nokia 8 will be design. I'm using mate 10 lite now and i love the big screen with the 2:1 display however the specs of the Nokia are too good. The display is smaller, yes, but considering you're using a screen that is only .2 inches bigger it won't affect you too much. Go for it. Another feature for the Nokia is long term support because as far as i know it's part of that Google a or whatever it's called project as it is stock Android.

Just read somewhere that the new pixel 3 xl will probably have a notch on it. What do you guys think of the notch?
Personally don't mind it on the iPhones because it shows their commitment to go bezeless which is helped by the fact that the iPhone x has no bottom bezel but on all android devices that have features a notch I've seen, have a proper bottom bezel which makes it seem as if they are either trying to copy the iphone or trying to keep up with the trends. Still i would rather not have it if i had a choice, something like what Samsung is doing i really do like the look of the s8 and s9.

Well there's nothing like that hardware wise, if there's any problem, that could be due to software and for that you can install GCam and it will be resolved. Recently one of my cousin bought Nokia 6.1 on my advise and he was tensed about camera quality but after installing the GCam, it's camera shocked everyone.

It basically depends on requirements though. If they are simple, go for a midrange in between 20-25k. 35k midrange only offer slight better user experience compared to 20-25k midrange. More like diminishing returns in midrange over 25k.

You pay 50k on a midrange, and even then experience will not be even close to a 2 years old flagship.

It's a flops**t basically. Didn't sell at all, so now they are literally begging to sell it. Nokia overprices like crazy thinking that there is no competition going on (remembering their old times) and then at the end start begging to sale obsolete stock, which totally killed my interest for Nokia. Robust hardware wise though, but still.

P20 Lite despite of average specs sell the most in midrange in this price. Not saying it's better, but saying that only high specs are not enough for success.

Nokia 2 has now a 5.5" Display. Nokia 3 has now a 1.5Ghz Octa-Core with a 5.2" 2:1 display and The Nokia 5 has now a 5.5" 2:1 display with a 2Ghz Helio P20.

Prices will remain the same! Which is nice given the updated hardware and bigger displays all across the range.

Experts plz help. I am having problem with my s9+. When ever i miss a call from someone it automatically sends message "Sorry, I can't talk right now. Call back later." Its annoying. If you are sleeping walking driving or busy somewhere it sends this message everytime right after the call is missed. How can this feature be off? Plz help

For current discounted price, front camera is very good, but rear camera is above average. Grainy photos at night, even more grainy than Redmi 4A ironically. Carl Ziess logo is joke on 6.1. but at current sale price, it's a good deal. Has a lot of useful features, except led notification light, dual cameras, 18:9 screen, the two last being most demanded items. Lol
