Anyhow, it's certainly a good initiative. In the western world; more than 50% of phones are sold by carriers with a 1-2 year contract.

Btw Samsung Galaxy flagships installments are really hilarious. If it were iPhone, their installments would be hilarious too.

Whoever is buying such an expensive phone will be rich enough to afford it to begin with. I don't think anyone will pay 100,000 down payment and remaining 18000 in 1500 per month installments for 12 months.

Same goes for S9 and S9+. But for others, good initiative.

Yeah i looked at it and almost laughed. If i was getting a phone on installments and either had the money or was willing to spill a 100k on a phone upright I'm pretty sure an extra 18k wouldn't actually matter. If it was something like 2 year installment plan with advance payment of around 30k or 40k then it would seem reasonable but in this form they're just increasing their phone range and hardly any sales. Though the mid-range phones are a better deal in installments here.

It was on 9.5. Today recieved the update of MIUI 10, but asked my sister to stop it’s installation as i read on many places that MIUI 10 has battery draining issue.

Kindly suggest should MIUI 10 be installed? Or keep running the MIUI 9.5 (out of the box) ?

Net per 3gb / 32gb variant ki price 26k thi or 4gb/64gb variant ki price 31k thi. Irada 3/32 waly ka hi tha mgr 2,3 shops per wo available nhi tha; or 4/64 walay per 2k discount mil rha tha so bought that on discounted price i.e. 29k.

I faced exact same problem after MIUI 10, but after reset, it fixed and is going well so far. Update and reset. Otherwise later on, resetting will be a big issue with lots of data.

If problem persists, just in case, it will be fixed in next software update in upcoming days. So no worries.

Having hard luck with Xiaomi Redmi Note 4x just got new lcd installed which i got from AliExpress and broke it on 3rd day while removing screen protector which was causing touch issues on the buttons. But i am really concerned about how poor was this replacement lcd quality that it broke while removing screen protector!! Lesson learnt is this is the world that the thing i was installing to protect lcd actually caused it to break
I got this set from china around 4months before launch in Pakistan for rs 15750 and it was launched in Pakistan for around 23k now I have spent uptil now rs 9000 on its repairs!!!! And again lcd broke

Lol wut? Do you know how many Pakistanis actually buy the latest flagship phone from any company? Less than 5% of the total market. Apple would take market share if it launched a new phone at around $300 which is so unlikely it's not even funny. Hardly anyone even buys samsung flagships which have been available since a long time.

xiaomi has a wide range of earphones to sell so they want you to buy it separately kinda iphone policy

my 4x recently got updated to 9.6.5.0 and camera is really good now, very crisp and balanced pictures in all lighting conditions. Stability is also improved

Although i have very bad experience in case of hardware only of Xiaomi
But today i have decided that instead of going for some other brand i will once buy Mi series just to confirm Xiaomi quality and subject it to same environmental conditions

Does redmi 4x support quickcharge? i borrowed a charger from a colleague and there came a thunder icon besides battery icon. Then i checked the charged and it supported 9v/2A (huawei)
