You can use phone without register for 60 days. And passport is a must have for getting it registered.

Guys, my friend got a P20 pro as a gift from his relative who live abroad and brought it here in Pakistan on the 15th of Feb. He started using the phone and yesterday he got a message that the device is not PTA approved. What should he do now?

Ask him to take to the market and get it registered. Not sure about other cities but few shopkeepers in Singapore plaza rwp are getting them registered for 1500/set (any phone. rate was standard)

Wah bhai ye konsi jugar hai... But let me tell you although its too bad that government is asking huge taxes on it but getting it registered in an illegal way is also against rules and morally as well

Please give details of how shopkeepers are registering on DIRBS so i might also get help whether its legal or illegal

I confirmed it myself. They are asking 3000 to register mobile. I asked them the procedure to decide whether its legal or illegal
He said people are selling their passport on which we are registering mobiles
And i am sure its not people themselves rather OTHERS sitting on airport and airline staff doing this
So overall its illegal and morally too bad.. but where is government to ensure implementation of proper law ??

Thats true. Just checked again. Some are saying that we've got links in FIA who are helping us and some are saying same stories of passports.

Now i am stuck in registering my S9 plus and Redmi note 7
I have emailed to all possible stake holder including FBR and PTA but no satisfactory response uptil now
I told all these 2 numberis going on and requested them to help ordinary people like me who dont want to do illegal things but neither capable of paying huge taxes on 2 mobiles

Is anyone using S10/S10+? Is it worth the money? I heard Exynos version has poor battery life especially in S10, is that true? I'm more inclined towards S10 because it will be kinda more portable and easy to use with one hand

Bro i have seen s10 plus and experienced it for a short time
Literally its not worth its current price
And thats why its price is daily coming down in other countries such as UAE
It started from 3599. AED and now its 2698 AED
I Think once its price will come down below 1 lac then it might be worth its price

I think you should first try to factory reset (just for the sake of satisfaction although i feel its hardware issue) and if it doesn't work u might have to visit repair guy

Thank you for your opinion bro, I think I should wait then. I am using S8 from the past 2 years and now I'm so tired of it, it still works great though. I'll give(maybe sale) it to my younger brother I was looking forward to Note 10 but the price at which Note 9 released and current market prices of phones due to dollar rate etc, I think it will be way out of my budget. The only options left are S10 and P30 pro but I hate Huawei's UI. Samsung's One UI is way too good. So basically, I'm stuck with S10 considering the budget. If you have any other suggestions, feel free to share them

Random automatic restart cycles are mostly problems with hardware. Fixable, unless it's being caused by bad processor.
