Besides, I used to have a 480p smartphone with 200ish PPI a few years ago (Lumia 430) and it never looked pixilated to me. Not to mention, the iPhone XR that goes for ~140K (Give or take) has just 829 pixels diagonally and isn't even OLED.

TL;DR: Don't believe in the hype created by specs sheet warriors. The Mi A3 is probably one of the best phone in the 40K range.

Yes exactly. One cant see the difference in the pixel difference. It is just the hype.
IMO the most important thing a phone should have is that it should be smooth in operation, I hate a laggy phone.

eSIM. Both were PTA approved and i was using eSIM as well. Battery health was 100%. Plus phone was totally scratchless and accessories were packed and unused including charger.

Interestingly trying to check duty on OnePlus 7 through PTA dirbs portal but its not having OnePlus 7 in its record
Its continuously showing that "Your device registeration is in process. You will be notified for further taxation soon via email and SMS"

What's the point?

The iPhone 8 Plus looks like a dinosaur from the jurassic era, all thanks to sleek and bezel less smartphones with tall displays you see in the market nowadays.

As of right now, the iPhone 8 Plus' design is exactly 5 years and 1 day old, and it didn't look pretty even back then! But if you want to be seen with an old, not to mention grossly overpriced "dinosaur" then who am I to argue?

Although if I was you; I'd grab a Pixel XL and save myself some 70 grands!

They haven't slashed the duties as of yet, although they've proposed the government to slash the duties by upto 50%!

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has proposed to slash regulatory duty (RD) on import of mobile phones by up to 50 per cent in some cases, saying the move is aimed to “provide relief to the common man and to support digitisation endeavours.

I'm looking to get one for my dad, he's not used to the Android OS, and android is easy to mess up - so better to keep him on iOS. My budget is upto 100K, Which iPhone would you recommend?

I don't think so! Unless you "accidently" boot into TWRP recovery and then "accidently" wipe the ENTIRE system partition! The chances of this happening is less than witnessing a Bigfoot in the wilderness, that ALSO happens to be taking a leak while whistling Mission Impossible theme.

On a more serious note, most manufacturers don't even offer unlocked bootloaders so there's literally NO WAY you can wipe the OS or brick the device for good.

Go with an iPhone 6S Plus if you really and I mean REALLY want an iDevice and just can't abide with Android.

They're pretty similar, despite the ENORMOUS difference in price tags. Take a look:

Don't waste your money on the iPhone 8 Plus. And if you MUST have to drop 100 grands on a phone, for whatever reason (I'm not judging!), then try to score either an iPhone XR or iPhone X.

I don't understand throttling a year or even 2 year old flagship phone ESPECIALLY since it's an iphone. Maybe throttling 3 year old phones will be acceptable but tbh even the iphone x doesn't need to be throttled right now. These small but stupidly unethical practices keep me away from any apple products.
