Thanks for sharing your experience. I think you mis read my post. Im already using iPhone from quite a long time and wanted to shift to android. Currently im not using any android. That Samsung s6 edge belongs to someone else at home.
I don't need to shift from android to iPhone rather I want to shift from iPhone to android.

Battery replacement experiences at various occasions has led me to believe that its a sheer waste of money and in one case was darn right dangerous. After sitting idle in cupboard fora nearly a month, replacement battery in one huawei bloated to the level that it tore apart the plastic backcover of it.

I agree with eyes closed. But why don't we can get brand new batteries from the market or are we?
My father's phone battery has also gone bad. He is an old school type of a person doesn't even want to change phone. Upon trying him to believe that replacing a battery with a used available in the market wont be a good option, he still insist to get it changed. Lets see how the experience goes.
Can someone guide me a shop from where I can buy batteries of Samsung S7?
What if I order them from Aliexpress. Would they be good to go and would it be able to made it to my home? Most probably they will be captured by the post office guys.

Piles of Ali express batteries are available in markets in every city. I got it changed from Lahore market at one instance. (cant remember the road and plaza name, but it was full of mobile parts imported from china). Next time i got the job done from a mobile plaza just adjacent to niazi plaza in saddar.

Samsung do have an authorized service center in Rawalpindi ( my colleague got his note 8 screen changed from them).

Getting battery from an authorized service center is a safe bet by miles as opposed to getting a used one from market. The experience i shared above is of these china imported new batteries.

Also, they give you backup time that is nowhere near to batteries that comes with a new phone and on gaming your device's uptime is seriously dreadful.

Actually I did tried to shift when I bought this iPhone 6s. Just in a month time I was done with that Samsung S6 (bought at that time brand new) and shifted to iPhone 6s.

Iphone 6s battery replacement required, any suggestion where I can get original or at lest OEM Battery. Apple authorized center in Blue Area commented that Apple don't ship batteries to this part of the world, you have to compromise on local market.

Yes its a wise decision. I am using IOS and google phones form long time. recently moved from IOS to android (get only to check xiaomi brand). If you dont care about iphone shaskha. or if you want iphone shaskha then spend these 50k to get an upgrade apple phone.

So you suggest me to give it a try? I really not into spending 100k on buying a used iPhone and that's too without warranty (im talking about iPhone x used).
Whereas if I spend half of the money quoted above and get me some mid range android phone, I think ill be able to get it going. My concerns is only WhatsApp. I need to have all the backup transferred to android.

Hey. Hope you're doing good.
I've been an android user from more than 8 years. I think it's a great platform. Hardware is almost the same for flagships nowadays in comparison to iPhone.
My strategy is to buy always buy flagship. I'm a college student right now and you can get an idea that I spend most of my time on phone and I'm a pretty heavy user.
I would suggest you that don't go for Samsung A51. I don't hate Samsung. My previous phone was Galaxy S9(now Oneplus 7 Pro)which I used for more than a year. My brother got Galaxy A50 and I would use it sometimes and feel the difference. Mid range phones always show their cheaper processors and cameras. That's the biggest issue with them.
I'd suggest you to get a used Oneplus 6t or Google Pixel 2 xl if you want the best android experience. Other OEMs have their own version of apps and all which affects the performance of phone(especially mid range phones like A51) and eventually you'll end up not liking Android.

I would personally go for Google Pixel 2 xl because it will get Android 11 before any other phone. If you cannot get a good deal of pixel, then you may go for Oneplus 6t or Galaxy S9 Plus.

A51 isnt a bad phone on the other side. google pixel 2 is now old phone. So wont suggest you to get a used google pixel 2 phone. get google pixel 4 then. I am not sure if you can transfer your things to anyother phone. try making a backup of your whatsapp.

If suggest something near to 50k. go for a51 or a70 if u want samsung phones. otherwise you have many other options as well in android. If interested. google pixel 3 is also a good phone, but you know well abot urself. if you are not heavy user, then save some money and buy any good nokia phone, to experience stock android. and also look for bigger battery, and type c. And whatever phone you get just get a new one. to avoid any later pta appoved issues and in used phones you never know their inside situation or battery life etc.

Im also iPhone user but this year, i gave a try to Note10+ and it was a good experience with it. Though i sold it after using it for two months. Obviously, you can't compare A51 with Note10+ but just giving you an idea how was my experience.

Regarding WhatsApp data, no you can't transfer whatsapp data to Android from iOS or vice versa.

If you want to stick with iPhone 6s, so i'd recommend you to use google photos which gives unlimited storage so you can transfer all your photos to google photos. Plus i have turned off the whatsApp media so it doesn't save in my phone gallery automatically.

Plus, you can also buy icloud storage which is Rs.100/month for 50GB storage and Rs.300 for 200GB storage.

Brother I totally agree with you that oneplus provide really good phones, but the issue is in my budget ill not be able to get a brand new phone. My mind set is different, I prefer purchasing brand new phone and then use it for the upcoming 3 to 4 years. So buying a used phone wont be my option.
Im not a heavy user, most of the time im using social media apps like WhatsApp and facebook. Im not a gamer. Very occasionally I play pubg, as my current phone has some memory issues, so I have kept a backup phone just to play the game, but if I buy a51 then ill be using it for gaming aswell, not heavily but moderately. I think a51 wont make me in trouble.
My cosin is using a30 and im impressed by its speed. He keep a lot of photos and I haven't encountered him waiting for the photos to get opened.
Yes oneplus 6t is in my option, but again it will be a used set and how much it is used we cannot judge. Secondly how can I be sure that the purchased phone is not opened/repaired

I agree with you, I would prefer new one over an old one any day. Yes im also thinking to get a71 but it has got a big big screen and I really don't like phones with big screen although a51 also has big screen but it can be used.

Brother im using the "Optimize Storage" option in my iPhone but still it is full. I have kept 1600 photos but they are all upload to icloud. Apart from them some social media apps and that's it, it is full. I have also purchased the extra storage but the thing is iPhone and icloud is a sync process. First all the data is backed up in iPhone and then synced with icloud and since iPhone doesn't have memory so sync is not done, im talking about WhatsApp.
I don't want to stick to iPhone as yesterday I charged it quite a long time and when I used it, its percentage battery usage dropped considerably. I checked the battery health and it was 74% so it si bad.
Secondly im using it from the last 4 years and a bit bored now, then again all the upper higher end model of iPhone shares the same UI. Now lets see.

If its only the battery is annoying. get it replaced. cost you only 1000rs. Before getting nay phone just think about what you actually want in a phone. battery? builtin quality? fast? camera? memory etc
