I am overseas Pakistani and I only visit Pakistan for few weeks every quarter. I dont understand why ppl in my situation have to pay tax.

Its new Pakistan. But i would suggest you add ur this problem in complaint section of citizen portal. And give them suggestion that an overseas Pakistani must be given this facility that after paying a tax for a particular category mobile he should be exempted for paying tax for similar tax bracket mobile for next 2-3 years for 1 mobile per year.Believe me u will sure shot get some benefit and also ease this thing for others.I have personally got a huge benefit in this mobile tax related issue for my 2 mobiles and same will be applicable for others. Just upload complaint on citizen Portal to Secretary Excise and taxation

I wanted to ask, a google pixel 3a XL costs 290$ new and somewhat on sale for 260$ approx (esim version) and when i add its imei on dirbs for checking tax/custom, it shows 21k approx. Is this correct or can i mail them to look into the custom charges as its a cheap phone not an expensive one and reduce the tax.

They have some formula for depreciation per year may be u can email them but if u r paying around 63900 for pixel 3a xl then if u compare specs with pixel 3 i think pixel 3 is better and interestingly i am selling a box packed pixel 3
I need esim for dual sim so stuck. 3a XL is cheaper then 3XL and ofcourse 6 inch screen is easy to handle atleast in my case. May i knw wat ur asking for pixel 3? But again the price difference will be alot between 3a XL and 3
Does Esim work simultaneously along one physical sim? Just like having dual sims in phone?I read somewhere that one some can be used at one time and you have the option to switch to other in case of esim phone
With the new software update in pixel, it works just like any dual sim phone. Thats the main point on shifting to an esim phone otherwise wouldnt hav even thought about going near it

No doubt and a very decent camera. Getting 3a XL for almost 250$ aint bad and right now u can get a pixel 3 for less then 250$ but the stupid customs imposed by our government screws us badly.
