Guys what are the reviews of Oneplus 8. Actually last year i shifted from IOS to Android, Shifted from Iphone 6s to Samsung A51. Its been an year im using it but as it is not a flagship device and in some areas it does slow down so thinking to get something better and faster.

I really like the Samsung flagship s20 but it is too costly. Im also not in a mood to migrate back to IOS aswell so have filtered my search criteria to Oneplus 8.

Please guide about its performance. My top priority will be speed and camera.

Stay away from Samsung s10 lite or note 10 lite. They are too slow.

I'm using ESR case and protector. The clear case is just ok, but the protector I wouldn't recommend. It has slower touch response.
Try Nilkin or Baseus from their official Daraz store. I've used Baseus before and it used to work fine.

U r talking about Basues/ Nilkin case or protector? How about this Raptic(previously known as X-doria) Case and spigen protector?
Or should i buy generic 9D protector from local market?

I think its worth spending on case but screen protector and camera ??? Should we spend in 1000s or not??

Camera protector, I don't think so, just keep keys away from your phone pocket. That's where you get most scratches. Otherwise most cases will protect from surface rubs.
I meant Nilkin protector, Baseus case is also good. Please check Daraz as they have official stores there.
Spigen is good of course but more expensive. Allmytech used to be good but I have faced some customer service issues from their side so I would not go with them right now.

If you're looking for a great camera oneplus isn't the best. I recently shifted from a pixel xl to oneplus 7t and I think the 7t is an improvement over the pixel in every way except camera. Samsung also has a better camera than oneplus however it will definitely have a better camera than iPhone 6s and a51.

In speed it's another story though, it's probably the fastest phone you'll have used. 120hz is also something you just can't move back from once you're used to it.

Ok great. Obviously the camera would be better then6s and A51.
Let me share you one aspect which really bug me off and think to shift from A51.
I store media in my whatsapp gallery. One of the group which approximately have 200 images. Whenever i click on tbe media of thar group, my phones goes to sleep mode. The cursor is moving snd after a good 10 seconds that media loads. It never happened in iphone.
Have you felt anything like that in oneplus?
Plus when i dial a number it takes few seconds to make a call. Also when k receive the call, the phone starts vibrating but there is no alert on screen for say 2 3 seconds

I pta approved my phone and even got the verification message but when i check on pta website it still says phone not approved? I doubled checked imei to make sure i didn’t make a mistake while paying the tax.
