He should take and keep atleast screenshot of single sim imei PTA approved from DIRBS and keep it with him in case of any problem in future

No rates depend on price of mobile in dollars not on single or dual simI am a heavy user and use mobile in low ambient light and this OLED screen is not comfortable for me. So want to switch to LCD display secondly don’t have budget currently to pay PTA tax as of now and need cash for some more important things

Which phone u have? Check esim id in setting if it’s iPhone it would be written under Digital Sim IMEI
Its Google Pixel, iPhone/Samsung ki to i think 16 digit ki hi hoti hai. Iski 32 digit ki hai to be precise.
If it’s Google pixel 3 then it has single imei for both sims

I had been through this and i hope u paid Rs7865/-There is a long story behind it how i got its tax reduced from 40000 to 7865 through Citizen Portal and How much effort was involved getting the GSMA record changed through PTA and GoogleOtherwise no one of us would have been able to register it legally and u know the loophole was also closed after this effort as the market guys were registering 2 Google Pixel 3 by paying tax for one set as they used to input 2 IMEIs of different sets to bypass the hurdle that u were facing!!!!! Interesting DIRBS …….
Yes exactly my tax is PKR 7865.Will go to some bank tomorrow to deposit money against my PSID.Although currently i applied for my Google Pixel 2 XL which came 7865,but i also have Pixel 3 XL in my family but its tax is still 41000 something which is too much considering phone's worth itself which is not more than £150 in used market.
