I don't think Blackberry is for uncles. Blackberry seems so professional, so corporate, so masculine. Physical QWERTY keyboard means business.
On the other hand these fancy touch screens are very much common in girls.
Anyways thats not a rule, everyone has his/her own opinion.
I own Nokia E5 SE right now. I have kept a touch screen phone before. The phone was Nokia 5800. I think it was the first touch screen from Nokia. It was very very hit. I bought that for 32K that time. I have big fingers and I am a heavy texter, I became fedup with the virtual keypad.
Plus if you want to write a msg, or scroll the menus in a touch phone, your hands need to be super clean. What if you are sitting in a workshop, getting your car repaired, and you need to use your phone? Or you are having a meal and you have to use your phone immediately?
