You should sell the phone bro. Immediately else the damage might spread.

Sold my Bold 9780 for 11,000 Rs because the shopkeeper was telling that its LCD is very expensive, 4-5K.
And I was told by 3,4 mobile repairing shops that this problem of dead pixels is too common in Bold 9700 and 9780.

Bought Nokia E6. Back to Nokia after having Androids and Blackberries
I must say that the build quality and battery life of Nokia E-6 is amazing. I had to charge my Android phones daily. Even two times a day. E6 feels so good in hand but the screen size seems really small after using Xperia.

My E-6 is running on Symbian Belle Refresh. I am seeing a lot of improvements if I compare it with older symbians.
I am thinking that I will keep this phone due to its good battery life and excellent build quality and will buy another phone which will be an android with big screen.

U will feel slight lag in scrolling but im sure u will love one x because of its screen and sense 4 is very much better UI by htc
