Get S2, it have huge dev support. Stable 4.4.2 ROMS are available

S2 is better but too old now so make sure u are getting used one not abused one

My own preference is also S2. Saw a couple of them at Singapore plaza (Rawalpindi), to be honest they all looked same to me price b/w 18-19k. One thing which i noticed that in most of them was that, there were scratches in either 1 or all 4 corners. The shopkeepers said that since it's second hand it's normal other than that the back and front were fine. Got a little confused so didn't buy.

Tell me guys is it normal as previously i have SAMSUNG star which i bought brand new and 1280 (also pinpacked ), first time buying second hand mobile.
What are the things to look out for while buying S2.

There are many shops in Singapore Plaza which are selling mobiles whose body is changed. Look out for them. I saw, at a shop Javaid Communications, changing bodies of S3, it costs only 1500. So its better to buy from a good and reknowned shop.
check that if its International version (GT I9100) and not Korean one.
Most shopkeepers will say that they will give you every accessory except box. Depends on shop but they mostly give china copies so not worth the extra price they are charging.

slam every one,,, M.A. this thread is going good,, so i also want some suggestion,,
i need android phone,,,not pinpack but used,, i need it upto budget of 15k,, i have zero knowledge about mobiles,,, so i want to ask that which phone will bw good,,, specially which do not have any lag issue and should respond hurry,,,remember that ot would be strong enogh to survive in a fall,, i m inclined towards HTC as it is different from others in look and style
currently m using samsung gt S5260,,, it is java phone and i dropped it many times but it is still ok

Check camera, call quality, if it's refurbished or not.
And check if it vibrates or not. I bought an S2 once and it was fine in the shop but when I got home it didn't vibrate.

Secondly, check Mars Communications (Shop 35, 1st Floor Singapore Plaza)

Or

Orbit Mobiles (a bit further up from Mars communications but on the opposite side).

If ur spending around 20k add 4-5k and get lg f180l its far better than S2 and heavy build quality with all the features u will need like NFC, full HD, 2GB ram and Quad Core. In market its for about 24-25k but its far better than S2 and ranks higher than S3 what else do u want plus S2 is way old now and i think it was released in 2010-2011 and optimus f180l in 2013.

This is actually a better option than the S2.

I've seen many satisfied LG F180 users. Its a great phone.

I myself hav been using f180l for the last 7 months or so bought it pin pack from saddar for 34k and till today its working fawlessly MASHAALLAH. The main difference between nexus 4 and f180 is the software updates on nexus but again i hav a 13MP cam instead of an 8MP in nexus i have 32GB memory instead of 16GB of nexus and f180s display is quite better and brighter than nexus
