Check with an app called Antutu Benchmark. Click Device Info, if it shows Snapdragon 800 (Korean) and if it shows Exynos 5410 (International) and 5.0" 1920x1080 screen then it's original.

If the Processor/CPU shows MediaTek or something then it's a clone.

How much would HTC amaze original battery cost? And where to buy from? My htc amaze is back to life. but its on charging for last 3 hours, when i removed charger it said battery 2%. batter is gone faulty i guess.

Dear Friends and experts! m posting comments first time in this thread coz i had no intrest in these things but now i want a mobile with a good 5mp camera.someone suggest me to go for a slightly used HTC within range of 6 to 7 k as it has less resale so i might b able to get it in this range.so what should i do??where will i find this set?waiting for ur precious suggestions.

I am about to receive a new phone as a gift and i am allowed to choose my gifts(that just destroys the point of gifts but Meh lol)

I've narrowed down my search to either a HTC One or a Xperia Z1. Please no Samsungs or any other plastic feeling phone.

Xperia Z1 has a 20 something Mpx camera with some next level sensor. Will that beat the Ultrapixel thingy of HTC One?
Xperia is waterproof to some extent, but HTC One just looks lush.

I'm planning to get either, HTC One in Golden, iPhone 5S wannabe:) or Xperia Z1 in White. Whatcha say?

What about these nexuses etc? Please note, I am not worried about resale or any other issues. It will have insurance and other crap.

HTC One available colours: Red, Silver, Black, Blue, Golden and Grey.
Xperia Z1: White, Black and Purple.

HTC Ones camera is crap and many users have the purple tint issue.

Xperia Z1 is a great phone. Its good looking, camera is amazing and specs-wise, it beats the crap out of the HTC One.

Nexus 5 is good (performance-wise) but it's the ugliest phone ever made and battery life is terrible.

Called them and they aren't offering One Max in pakistan yet
Called ISL Concept shop and answer was same.
So my guess is that if someone has it, he will sell it quite expensive and offcourse no warranty.

Xperia Z1 crushes HTC One when it comes to daylight photography.
But for low light conditions, HTC One with its big (Ultra) pixels plus OIS definitely takes the crown.

Xperia Z1 has 1/2.3 size sensor which is bigger compared to other smart phones which come with 1/3 size. Now theoratically this big sensor could have helped with low light photography if they had kept the megapixels same as other smartphones. But once you stuffed 20 megapixels in it, pixel goes smaller just like other smartphones and it looses its advantage.

Phones u have mentioned are not well settled phones,both of them have different issues,personally i would suggest to wait for htc to release.something new or you can try something like motorola or LG.

samsung does good job but built quality is a downside.so.my final suggestion would be to go for iphone 5s or try motorola or LG.
