I haven't used Xperia TX but have used Xperia T. There isn't much difference. It's a pretty nice phone.
Don't go for Desire Series. Jumping to Desire 500 from a beast LG F180 is a major downgrade.

Thanx for ur reply well getting it for 26k totally clean set with all accessories n box. Acrually its shape is a bit tempting so and specs seem to b good as compared to desire 500. Hav nvr kept an xperia but want to try one. Just one question, hows the battery life? My f180l gives me around 1 day easy with wifi on almost all the time.
Xperia phones are good . A colleague has Xperia sp , i compared it's benchmark with my f180 and i was amazed . Despite being dual core and 1 gb ramit had better benchmark score compared to f180( Quadcore 2 gb ram ) .
