I'm also trying to decide which phone to buy for my sister. I think I'll be going for Xperia SP.

Since I used to have S3, I know what kind of phone it is.

Besides, Xperia SP beats the S3 in terms of performance.

Well my S3 was ancient but it would last 12 hours from heavy use and a day (or sometimes day and a half) with light use and mobile data off.

G700 is a very nice phone. Good battery timing and fast in daily operations. But few things Huawei should do is upgrade it to 4.4 the 4.2 its currently on is kinda old now.

Huwaei's dev Support isn't that good.

there are two different types of LTE S3's, make sure you get the right one.

Here are the prices:

NORMAL S3 I9300 1GB RAM: 27.5k
EUROPEAN S3 I9305 2GB RAM: 29k
KOREAN S3 E210S/K/L 2GB RAM: 24k

Get The European S3 with the model number GT-I9305. You may find one with 32GB Storage as well.

DO NOT GET SHV-E210 S3. It's terrible.
