Awesome ? Smooth ? these two words do not go with the S5. I bought one up when it was released and it was a LAAAG FEST. It was the Snapdragon 801 version , but it literally lagged every where because of the Samsung bloatware. However i was coming from a Nexus 5 so wanted smoothness , i immediately sold it up and got my self another Nexus 5 .

could have gone with Cyanogenmod on S5... No??
Smooth stock experience with better battery/camera/storage than Nexus.

by the way my M8 is pretty awesome and smooth
I have tried stock android GPE Rom on it and while that was a smooth experience, i still went back to stock Sense Rom.
Sense 6 indeed feels faster and more polished than bone stock android.

980 is a Sprint device. Sprint is a CDMA network. It won't be entirely compatible with our networks.

CM is not out on the S5 yet and yes Nexus 5 is smooth as well, the only phone i found close to it was the OPO. However Nexus 5 has its battery issues (i stated that 1st).

Anyways , i tried M8 once and it had a way better performance experience then the S5.

Sorry to say but Nexus5 has only got smoothness and nothing else. It sucks big time with looks, battery timings, software features, storage options and camera.
