was the oil pump ever checked for wear? - were new O rings used on its install? Its vital they be installed without any sealant too.

Did your mechanic ever check the lower rocker to pin clearance?

yes they were checked also used new O rings at every replacement..

borther sincere suggestion to you is that sale it out.... i also own cg right now and ybr125 .... once cg starts showing weakness you cant get it stable again especially the cam problem one is suppose to get it replaced every 2 3 months ... so buy a brand new cg if youare cg fan or else there is no use to buy second hand cg..... try some other bikes like GS150 or YBR125.... they good in almost every aspect as compare to cg

brother my friends cg was rebuild it had more Parts worn out than mine but even after 1.5 years of usage its engine is as silent as a new bike complete sound less engine thats the reason i bought a down model at first place..

you need a bore guage to check that, If its worn oval then you need a master machinist who has the alignment jig for this engine. Its not a simple tighten in chuck and rotate on spindle solution.

bore gauge is a tool I expect any respectable mechanic or technician to own, one can even make a setup with dial gauge - I know the street mechanics wont even know what this is.

About the master machinists - There were two that made the jig from a new engine casing - both behind the Radio Pakistan market. Gohar machine works or something like that, very small shop.

Worst comes to worst - you can buy a new engine casing from Atlas Honda, it takes about 2 weeks time and they give you a new casing with your engine number stamped on it. - Its not cheap.

yes haath ka andaaza.. other day i asked him about feeler guage for tappet setting.. he said bahot use kiyaa bakwaas hai andaaza theek rehta hai..

As pointed out by Sir Xulfiqar, Oil pumps in CG 125 engines are often not properly checked by the mechanics. Replace the oil pump. Check valve guides for any free play and if the ring where valve sits has caved in. Find a good machine shop and get valve guides replaced if needed.

New cam gears by Atlas are pretty useless. I have seen new cam gears making noises. If you need to change your cam again, use CRLF cam gear. CRLF wont last more than 10-12 months but cam gear noise will vanish for a few months.

Next time you visit the mechanic, ask him to remove the tappet assembly and get the push rods out. Check push rods for wear and scratches.

Ahl have changed push rod design of cg125 and started installing thinner pushrods which I think will get bend soon does bend push rod damage cam gear

i had headwork done about a year back.......installed everything genuine.....these push rods are fine....have done me 5000kms and are going good......i didn't get cam work done because mine wasn't making any sort of noises.....but looking here i find it surprizing that the cam gear only lasts a year...

Replacing this thrust washer along with the cam shaft is necessary as well

The camshaft - technically is just a lobe on the cam wheel on this engine, Its not a shaft per se - its just a cam to time the valves.

The shaft/pin/rod (in the left pic) holds the cam lobe + cam gear(in the right pic) and does not rotate. So how can it wear down the crank case? Only that shaft and what is running on it will wear.
Clear this point please!

as the cam rotates to lift the rockers, its reaction is on the pin(axle) of the camwheel - its a pretty rough cam too, consistent hammering action with a misaligned cam wheel along with bad engine oil - worn out pin bushing in engine casting.
