I would advise not to buy it...

1. Poor after sales and parts availability and expense
2. Six month delivery time
3. No HA, no TC, No VSC
4. Extremely overpriced. Price in Gulf with the above features is = PKR 1.6 million.
5. Poor finishing and fitting of parts

Go through this thread and you will find good points shared by people. Don't rush. Take your time and then decide. It's a handsome amount you are going to pay.

Sold thousands of units in China and gulf already, so should be pretty reliable.

Price is lower than Yaris and City, so that's a positive. Looks are above both yaris n City, quality from all the authentic reviews seem excellent.

Keep in mind:
There are no actual users or reviewers of the car here. @zahid.geol as you can see above is just a blind hater of new entrants in Pakistan, he's also a yaris fan boy.

For actual reviews, first watch YouTube, there's one review I already linked above.
Then, go to Alsvin group on Facebook. Actual owners of the car are there.

Then lastly and most importantly, go and test drive one vehicle on your own to form final opinion.

As for resale, a Toyota in Pakistan will always have a high resale.

Sold thousands of units in China and gulf already, so should be pretty reliable.

Gulf one is equal to 16 lac Pak and has all features such as VSC, TC and Hill Assist while all these are Missing in Pak and is priced close to 26 lac.

Price of Yaris in Gulf is PKR 25 lac while Alsvin is PKR 16 Lac. So you can see which one is overpriced in Pak. Yaris in Pak has more features compared to Yaris in Gulf.

There are literally 10s of videos against poor quality of Alsvin which obviously to mgalaxy3 are unauthentic. Only those which praise Alsvin are authentic to him.

I am a blind hater with proofs and logical explanation of why Alsvin is a poor car. While he has no explanation of why Alsvin is good but he just feels he is more genuine in his statements.

Only 1 review he posted and one of Pak wheels owner is not sufficient to make your judgement. Also examine the other side of the story as well.

Rest anyone wants to take a gamble and lose money to Alsvin they are free to do so. At least as a fellow Muslim I would never recommend something which I won't buy myself.

There are actually quality issues with the car , paint finish , sunroof cut out finish quality , finish quality of rear parking sensors , faulty fuel lids and cheap material used inside the car (fit and finish is good but plastic quality is extremely cheap , rival that of used in cultus). But the ride quality is quite good and DCT at the moment seems miles ahead of the cvt , the suspensions are good. The material used in cbu alvinses was way better.

Biggest turn off though is extremely expensive parts. Saying all that i would still buy it if had to buy into this segment.

Driving experience is not refined, you feel the overall crudeness in everything, ac buttons, bay rang lcds, black and white sa meter...

Base variant lena justified hay considering low cost, middle variant ya top of the line lena meri nazar mein hamaqat hay...

Sab say buri cheez customer service hay jo intehai unprofessional hay...

The ride quality isnt actually bad , and dct at the moment works very very well. Yes there is that cheap feel of suzuki cultus inside the cabin , fit and finish is fine but material quality is cheap. I have used the car for good two weeks and found that its alright if you can bear with 2012 model daihatsu move level dash quality material.

Why does every car in Pakistan have such horrendous plastic/built quality? When you move up in classes here, it just seems you're getting a bigger body, a trunk, and a bigger engine. There is no appreciable increase in built quality from the lowest level to highest. Panel gaps are there, paint quality is the same, seats are extremely hard. I mean even vigo's seats are way too hard.

Local suppliers were using European high quality resins and mostly imported from Germany for injection molding , dashboards, interior plastic panels. Since 2014/15 the local car companies really started towards the cost cutting. Prices of resins increased because of rise on $. Local car companies were not ready to pay more to suppliers for dashboards and other plastic parts. They switch to lower quality raw materials from China. Civic X is the prime example with first poorly made dashboards. I am sure you guys will agree the 9th generation Civic has much better built quality as far as interior plastics. Same goes for Corolla .

The price difference of German vs Chinese resins is almost 50/50.. unfortunately, it will result in low quality of plastics .

Changan Islamabad Blue Area is a good dealership.
Previously, i have given bad reviews about the dealerships of Lahore i.e. Bilal Automobiles and and Changan Adil motors. Changan dealerships in lahore are trying hard to create a bad name for the brand. But i am amazed to see the response of Islamabad dealership. I visited there for 1st inspection and they behaved professionally. Moreover, today i received their call to take customer feedback. I really appreciate them for such efforts.
Now some drive experience of the car. Its an Honest opinion....
Its been one month that i am driving Alsvin Lumeire. And i must say that i have found it absolutely stunning. Other than AWDs cars... I have driven City, GLI, Cultus, Yaris, Mehran in the category of cars and i can very well appreciate that Alsvin is way better in built quality. In the aspect of suspension and cabin noise it is slightly below GLI or Yaris. Rest it is far better. That difference of cabin noise and suspension is very less. I have driven it in Lahore, Multan, Islamabad and also on motorway and found fuel average to be very good.
I happen to drive in a pretty bad rain storm of Islamabad and found it very good. Not water seepage. No skidding etc. Air Conditioning, cruise control and other features are also very good.
Of all the merits or demerits... One thing stays there and that is our thinking about resale value. If we consider resale then Mehran sells like hot cakes. One should always go for it.

Changan's Price Increased Notification depicts that all bookings with payment instrument dated 24 Aug 21 and earlier will be accepted on old price.

Now my Querry is that my Pay Order was prepared on 23 Aug 21 but due to some issue I couldn't visit Changan Dealership and will book the vehicle tomorrow on 25 Aug, so will my booking be considered on Old Rates because I have deposited my payment and prepared my Pay Order on 23 Aug 21 or it will be considered in New Increased Prices.

Booking date is when your order is submitted in their system not the date of the Purchase Order. So in your case new prices will be applied.
