1. Way overpriced. Not just slightly overpriced like a Honda City. Its way way overpriced.
2. EADO is a better match for Yaris/City at the same price. EADO is a bigger segment car but a match for Yaris/City.
3. Even if Changan introduces EADO in Pak, it will priced like a Civic/Grande.
   So all in all no value for money. Its called "Chinese Shit" because internationally it is dirt cheap.

Yeah, Chinese shit is not necessarily shit but when it's priced the same as Japanese offerings, it is certainly shit. A car that is 40% cheaper than its competition world wide vs here where the difference between Yaris and Alsvin is 2 lakh..that's ridiculous. Price is the only USP of a Chinese car, unless and until they prove their reliability over the long term (10+ years of useful life/250k km without major issues).

Changan is producing good quality cars, not like other "Chinese shit" people are referring it as to .. even outside Pakistan Changan has really upped their game and penetration into the automobile market.

once it passes the test of time, it will prove itself... and by the way even Toyotas and Hondas need maintenance in the long run, no car is immune to be maintenance or breakdown-free !

They need toyota level of localization to bring the prices down. Still the current top of the line alsvin isoverpriced by at least 5 lacs after current price hike.

No car is immune to maintenance but consider the maintenance of Toyota, Honda etc. If you have a 10 year old car, even for major parts chances are you will easily find a kabuli part on the cheap, get it fixed by local mechanic and good to go for another couple of years. Alsvin and other new entrants have a very, very long way to go yet.

To all those saying this is shit, remember we had mitsubishi,nissan and Chevrolet that couldn't survive market. I would rather have changan stay here than phase out of our market without profitability, in the long term competition directs prices
I think inital overpricing will be compensated when they localize, and then tyoytas and hondas would have to be price competitive.so its a long haul look at what tesla did...

You probably are ignoring paint issues (yes people will say its a minor issue but it's not when considering Rs. 2.5million plus car) plastic accelerator paddle and overall cheap looking product. Seeing is believing and people are justified in calling it Chinese shit.

I disagree, if Changan becomes successful by pricing its cheap built Alsvin at the same or close to the price as Yaris/City, it will further ruin the market for purchasers.
Market will be better for purchasers when they get "better products at cheaper rate" not "bad products that are expensive". I am sorry to say Changan is already a lost cause if it continues this strategy of overpricing its cars.

People choose among the BEST AVAILABLE option. Yes Yaris/City may be overpriced but that's THE BEST we have.
For Changan it's a different story altogether. You get a cheaply built, no resale value (even internationally), way way overpriced, no parts availability, with no reliability (for now at least). Let's face it Changan is not in any way answer to the big 3.

People seem to just ignore this Fact. Major major aspect after which no one with even slight common sense would consider Alsvin.
Lets wait for 2-4 years, it will die just like Faw V2. Their pricing strategy says they are not here for the long run. They want to maximize profit in a short time and leave.

Paint issues were in the initial units and no longer exist.

We are just nitpicking now. Alsvin has a smooth ride , good suspensions and very very good fuel economy , now we need some creative thinking to actually prive it 'shit' against local competitors.

What is its fuel average? Yaris is giving me 19 km/litre without ac with two passengers on cruising at 60 kmph.
