Need reviews from Alsvin Black Edition users, How is their experience with Alsvin Black Edition 2024. I am using black edition myself (Been a month only) and till now I am satisfied with my purchse. I was told by the dealership that all issues faced by Alsvin 2021-2022 users have been rectified and no such issue will be faced by new Alsvin buyers.

Running alsvin since jan 2022Uploading... Super reliable, not any issue. An amazing drive for a small family. Dont trust random fb or pakwheels expert opinions. No need to spend lakhs more on Toyota and hondas .

I’m glad it’s running fine for you. 2 years is a very short time btw Japanese can last a life time, a decade without issues is a norm..

I hope Alsvin too lasts that long.

My close friend owns Lumiere
It has ran 60k kms without an issue over a period of 2 years...
We travel weekly on alsvin from lahore to okara and back
Its drive and comfort are better than city
Its cabin feels smaller than both its competitors
He travels to Rahim yar khan on it bimonthly and says its comfortable on long as well
Has impressive economy as well
Trip meter shows avg of 18-19 on lhr okara road we once tested via tank to tank and it averaged 18.3(slightly lower than trip meters reading but still impressive)
Both of us drive on light foot

Hi All, I have Alsvin Lumiere 2022 model with mileage of 30k, now in winters when I turn on the heater it blows hot air from driver side vents but cold air from all the passenger side vents.
Any idea what could be causing this?
I have checked coolant level and its at optimal level.

Usually this is caused by stuck blend door or bad blend door actuator.

Basically, the temperature blend door is responsible for sending air over the heater when you turn on the heat, and air over the cooler when you turn on the air conditioning.

A blend door actuator is a small motor that controls the movement of the blend doors.

I suggest you visit dealership and get the blend door and its actuator checked. Mechanic will open the dashboard side where the cold air coming in order to diagnose it. He will physically look at blend doors when changing the mode from the climate control

If there is an issue with motor can it be replaced in warrenty? if not how much does it cost?

Like I said previously, mechanic will diagnose it first. The issue could be as simple as stuck blend door.
If it's blend door actuator, it should be replaced under warranty

Hi,
I have recently bought Alsvin Lumiere 2022. with 20,000 Mileage.

I am facing two issues:

1. I feel there is lag in race of about 1-2 sec, for examply if i push the peddle it take 1-2sec for the car to accelerate. if i push slowly then the lag is less than 1 sec but still there is lag.
2. when I brake a bit hard I feel vibration in car.

Can someone please address these two issues?

I believe this is normal. Most Chinese cars have this. I have three of them and all have this lag.

That may be due to warped front brake discs. Two solutions. 1) Replace under warranty if that is possible or 2) have them refaced (not recommended).

No. It is more an ECU programming related. These cars have a drive by wire set up and there is an inherent lag between the moment the throttle is pressed and the engine reacting. Does your car have drive modes? Sport - Normal - Economy? If yes then try the sport mode.

No. Sorry. I don't know. You can get that info from your 3S Changan dealer. From my experience, Chinese cars a cheap to buy but the parts prices can make your eyes water.

Regarding the first issue, I think that is pretty normal for economy segment automatic cars (basically 95pc of the cars in Pakistan). Don't think it is happening because your car is Chinese.

CVTs, for example, have a small lag as well because that is how that particular transmission works. Please research on how DCT works, and I think that lag should exist in DCT as well - obviously these are not high performance cars, but I get your pain-point, you will have to adjust with it / learn the behavior over time

Lastly, it is possible that you might have a problematic car for some reason - you can get it analyzed by a reputable shop / mechanic (authorized 3S maybe?) to be more than ninety percent sure.

1) The Lag issue was resolved by the dealership after some minor adjustments

2) Regarding the vibration while braking it was fixed after I got my brakes serviced 2-3 time. I didn't had to get them refaced(tool).

Hi, I am not sure what fixed the issue actually, all he did was clean the throttle body and made some adjustments from under the steering.

Subject: Unacceptable Customer Service Experience with Changan Motors

Respected Changan Motors Customer Service Team,

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the appalling customer service I received from your representative at Islamabad Motors mainly by Mr. Umar who is the person incharge for Sales regarding my warranty claim for my Changan Alsvin Lumiere. The handling of my case was utterly unacceptable and has caused me significant distress.

Not only did Mr. Umar deny my warranty claim under false pretenses, claiming that my vehicle was involved in an accident, but he also made a deliberate attempt to defame my car by drastically cutting its price. I mean it is such a shame to quote a price of mere 42 Lacs for 2024 Alsvin Lumiere Black Edition which is only 17000 KMs driven.This behavior is not only unprofessional but also highly disreputable.

As a customer, I expect a certain level of respect and fairness from the company I choose to do business with. Umar's actions fell woefully short of these expectations. His blatant attempt to tarnish the reputation of my vehicle without any basis in fact is inexcusable.

I demand that Changan Motors take immediate action to:

1. Reinvestigate my warranty claim and provide a fair resolution.
2. Take disciplinary action against Mr. Umar for his egregious behavior.
3. Provide a formal apology for the distress and harm caused to me.

If I do not receive a satisfactory response within the next 48 hours, I will be forced to take the matter on social media and elsewhere by sharing my horrific experience with you guys.

Also keep this thing in mind that I will not spare Changan Motors for this unprofessional behaviour. I will take legal action against the company for not only damaging my car but also defaming it. The way your Islamabad Staff has devalued my car, I will make sure I do the same to Changan Motors on every possible forum and platform.

Consider this as my last warning and notice.
