Ok I have jumped from Toyota Corolla to Oshan X7. It's an excellent SUV. True value for money. Enjoying it ....no late delivery or after sale issues too ... excellent build quality...go for it ....

Need guidance

Bought x7 facelift this month overall ride and quality is as expected but got few question if anyone can answer

• how do you access vehicle control features in HMI? In settings there is nothing but once twice the vehicle control settings opened but I don’t know how once the low fuel warning was on and I clicked on details and it opened but I can’t access is through HMI can anyone guide?

• time is not getting saved every few days it gets reset to random time and date

Swipe left to right on your HMI...from Extreme left to Extreme right

Time resetting issue is there.... couldn't find a solution...Mr Changan a local Pakistani channel on YouTube might be helpful...

I've experienced time getting out of sync in a lot of other head units as well, both factory fitted and aftermarket.

The most consistent solution I've seen over the years is to just make sure your phone automatically connects to the head unit over bluetooth. In my current system, I've also set my phone to automatically start mobile hotspot when it connects to the car over bluetooth as well so the head unit is able to sync with internet time servers.

on your Home Screen swipe left to right (from Left side of screen) This will bring up extra vehicle settings

Received my X7 future sense a month ago
got Full Body PPF, Interior Glossy plastics PPF, Rear Tints and Front heat rejection tints

Excellent vehicle, Love the acceleration the most
suspension is also very soft

Currently driven 2000 km, Gave an average of 12 on the motorway to Lahore with a heavy foot

Reason for Choosing this car over Haval H6

1) The price is very reasonable 89, I think the haval worth getting is either 2.0 or HEV, this is much cheaper compared to those. I was replacing 2015 Grande so this vehicle made more sense for me under 1 cror

2) No high octane requirement in Oshan, Whereas It is recommended for Haval H6

3) Full size spare wheel in Oshan whereas 2.0 only has a donut, and HEV does not have a spare wheel
spare wheel is important for me

4) (Can be debated) Changan has stronger dealer network currently

Masha'Allah, it looks awesome. What would you recommend for PPF on a grey color? Would it be worth it? How much would it cost for a full body PPF?

Yes PPF is very worth it
Gives nice depth to the paint and also saves from scratches, & swirls

A basic PPF for Oshan will be around 2
Mine costed me 250K
This is a genuine PPF and not a Chinese copy

To each their own, but I don't think either is a substitute for the other.

Insurance will protect you from major damages and god forbid full car loss / theft ..I think even parts theft like side mirrors .. if a bike wala or riksha wala hit you, PPF won’t protect you ..

So for a new car consider taking insurance too.

Indeed, insurance offers additional & separate advantages. PPF can protect your vehicle from minor scratches and dings, especially in bustling cities like Karachi and Lahore.

Hello. I am facing issue with Goole map. Unable to search any destination which is a common feature in Goole map. The search option looks for locations already saved it in which is shocking. Did you figured it out?
