You are proven right, duty is reduced on bigger cars to give relief to "poor" so they ditch the smaller cars and buy bigger and better

is there any update on this... now there are rumors that duties are increasing ... why is it so difficult to adjust in Pakistani market ... it changes every month/day .. there should be at-least some stability.

i need an expert opinion as i want to import a used car (make:passo model:2007) from japan. did any one confirm me that i can import this car as i have listen that there is restriction in import of 5 year old car

Further, my friend is in japan he agreed to send me car at karachi at a cost of 2050$. kindly confirm me the amount which will spent after receiving at karachi port like custom duty, registration and etc

You cannot import more than 3 year old passenger vehicle
