. right now the car is with denter and painter and its nearly fnished .will keep u updated
@Xulfiqar firstly . saying some one DUMB is not a really mature and refined way of communication and yes u must be sorry for that .
as for the swaping of toyota engine in charade is concerned . this decision has been taken after looking around the market and its diffrent aspect . the diahatsu engine u r refreing to is 1300cc 16 v single cam (sohc) engine where as the toyota engine 5E is 1300 cc 16v double or twin cam (DOHC) . and i THINK UR NOT aware of the fact that DOHC ENGINE HAVE MORE POWER AND HP THEN A SOHC ENGINE .
plus the toyota engines are more know for thier more relaiblity then diahatsu engines so thats another plus for toyota
thirdly the spares of toyota 5E engines are commonly avaialble in market where as the spares of diahatsu engines are not commonly avaialble so thats another plus for toyota engines
last but not least toyota engines are avialble in large numbers so one has the option of chosing the best among many engines where as in the whole rawalpindi and peshawer engine i was only able to find 5-6 diahtsu 16v
engines
another thing that u may wanna know is that 5EFE has better LOW END TORQUE then DIAHATSU 16V engine
the ftting of 5EFE in my charade is close to genuine fittting. only one mount has been changed and i have placed a engine guardry due to which very less alteration was required
as for the roaring of lion or toyota kitten sound is concerned well i wish ur friend was in rwp/isb so that this could have been deicided very easily .
anyway thats MY 2 CENTS and every one has got thier own freedom of choices and favourties so if u like diahatsu engine then go for it.i liked toyotas engine so i went for it.
