Charade engine swap- need suggestions+guidance

Hmm 4AGE in G11 hmm yaar he got G11 not G100 there is a difference between these cars. When i had G11 not even a single guy all engine dealers recomended me to swap any engine other than original in G11 aur un ka intrest sirf engine sale karna hai they all say Dadu main daldo not in 86 means G100 is ok for swap not G11.

So make sure whatever you go for should have minimum alteration required.

D15b is more powerful than most toyota engine mentioned above but i feel 4E might fit into your G11 and D15b might not.

Furri i get ur point i have seen alto with Margalla engine they cut half feet of frame both side of the engine bay now car tu chalti hai but this is not alteration this is just killing the car :p.

Thing is my theory of swap is the car should be perfect just like stock engine it seems most people's theory is to have a fast engine in the car no matter how it drives or gives troubles all the time.

There is no chassis cutting involved in swapping of 4e,5e,4a,5a etc or the d15b !

It's exactly the same thing but Daihatsu made a few changes to it.
It's the UK spec anyway.

why are you so eager to cut up and weld your cars body, is the original engine that bad? or is your mechanic a nincompoop.

the guy i met last time say chassis need to b cutted 1.5 inches from both sides for 4efte turbo setup..
and he wasn't sure that there will b no handling problem...

open up your old engine and inspect what parts are worn out, You need to check the tolerances with precision - refurbish/replace worn out parts with junkyard/new parts - you will have a good reliable engine.

To make this happen you need a good reliable mechanic with a working brain and good tools, not tools that slip on everything and brain fogged by dope.

practically you can put any engine you wish in your car, you can even shove a toyota 3.0 1MZ-FE V6 in there and call it a day. But be wary that such swaps should be undertaken if you are confident that you can repair most items yourself. Parts/procedures will not be off the shelf and by book.

about every part needs replacement... it burn 3liter oil in a month. milage is about 5km/l...
fuel pump stops working when ever heat guage reaches half...
car isnt crossing 60km/h speed
and many others problems
so thats the reason im shifting to efi technology...

buy an engine khoka - with no parchoon items on it - (thats karachi terms) in real terms it means
buy an engine with no manifolds and accessories.

You say that you are facing oil burning problems, heat soak, crank rattle and general sluggish acceleration - its called repairable. Now unless you are prepared to join the bandwagon of swap this swap that - go ahead.

You can look for the workshop repair manual for this car and then measure your engine to the specs. You will be amazed at how off our pakistani machinists are on tolerances. If you can somehow make them follow the book you would be set. AND its a simple, small tiny engine.

I had a G11 and a friend had LC 4000CC Diesel while going to Nathia Gali I was on his tale all the time no matter how hard he tried to gain some distance he failed in the end he had to say yaar bari dorti hai tere gari so that tiny engine is good enough if properly maintained.

yup ur rite.. this tiny engine served us a lot we visit murree several time...
but now i want a trouble free engine that can serve me for about gud 4 years...

sir i'll try my level best clearify my poinst to mechanic..
the mechanic im going to vist is a kind of famous mechanic near bilalgung 4 of the engine dealers reffer him to me, he had done h22a swap and alot of 4efe swaps in charade g-11 and g100 model...
plz sugest me should i go for toyota engine or honda engine?
keeping in mind i need trouble free engine,gud fuel compumption,and must b capable of kocking out 1.6 honda civic...
