@all....i have a GTti 4afe swapped.My rightside bearings now have a problem.should i change the bearing the only or should i change the whole assembly? btw how much would it cost either ways...? Regards,ALI

Changing the bearing is enough. But dont forget to check the seals. they might need to be changed as well.

guys i need to ask something regarding G11 charade its been 14 years i am driving that car its the petrol version the prblem is that my car has 4 gears and i heard that charade have 5 speed forword gears is it true? and if its true then y my car have 4 gears if anyone has this problem & he is been overcome with this then plz help me thanks.

bro i also have 2 door charade model 85 and recondition 93 "V" number plate it also have 4 speed transmission.
anyway iam planing for it's denting and painting tell me should i repaint it with the same orignal colour or should i change it little bit

Do wot ever you like , just watch out for some some nice color schemes, just dont get it riced for sometimes, ppl do too much....
anyways, dont you guys think tht Charade should be resumed, i mean it was sucha nice hatch back car, Y Daihatsu ppl stoped manufacturing it?

Not really, Daihatsu didn't stop manufacturing them, but People stoped buying them!

Well, there's a Charade 1982 model, IDC no, good body wise but it's diesel engine is almost OVER it's LIFE!

INTERIOR is ok, but whole wiring system needs replacement!

So it needs;
*Wiring Change

*Engine Swap (coz overhauling the Charade's diesel engine is useless)

cost???

*CNG instalation (with 40 clynder)

cost???

AND

*Paint Job

cost???

The owner is asking 90k, what should be the reasonable price?

do anybody know how much g11 orignal charade turbo cost and is there any other turbo for its stock engine and one other thing how much power differ b/w an intake and turbo will both work on cng as well or i have to remove cng

Which engine do u want to swap? original Charade engine should cost you around 25K add installation charges upto 5K, wiring should be around 5-7K, paint job 10K (depending on quality, maybe less or more),

I think the asking price is ok, cause wot else u expect? u want a car right.....!

It all depends on the condition, there are cars around 150K for the same model, so u be the judge of that......
I think in under 100K if you are finding a reasonable
condition then asking price its'nt bad, its a Charade man not a foxy, or an FX for heaven sake......haha
