Asalam o alaikum to everyone..

I am one of biggest fan of charade. Please help me buy a charade. I have an option to get a charade 1986 with original diahatsu engine... sold to different persons ... but physically look is good. Owner is saying 250K.

I think 175K is good. What you guys say how much it should cost me.

Car has alloy rim
original inside..
NO AC
Engine original .. don't know when overhauled
Color white (shower required).

Please suggest quickly. Thanks.

^^ i would ask 2 50 for mine...
no alloy rims,
80% original outside 100% original inside and very clean inside and outside..
yes AC recently filled gas and serviced and its very chilly now..
currently carrying out denting painting of some rusted parts of floor.. then car will be absolutely rust free. will do insulation as well.
engine overhauled once, and its running perfect gives 145km without ac on cng full tank 50kg. gives 180km on highway.

but i am not selling.. reason being what could i get in 2 50? a stupid crappy mehran.. so its better to keep this charade.. its a remarkable car. we got it untouched scratchless in 2005 for 2 50.

so you can offer the person 2 lakh provided the car isnt heavily accidented..
complete denting painting of car can cost between 12-20 thousand, if you are in karachi i can refer you to a denter, his work is excellent

original denso ac compressor of charade will cost you 10k, we have replaced ours once.

Thanks for reply... Actually m resident of Rawalpindi.. and if you comparatively see the car market is quite different in Rwp and Karachi... but still I feel that if I spend for denting and painting and AC works it should be no greater than 175K ... anyways still negotiating ..

m no experienced to check for heavily accidents etc .. I have also heard that if car is sold to many hands than its not good sign .... I will get these thing checked before finalizing ..

Please let me know that parts are available in market .. for 1986 model ...

Anyways m sure your car would be great and please don't compare charade with mehran .. actually don't think of it ...

before buying any car or finalizing any deal take an experinced mechanic and denter along with you to check the car.. only they can tell how much work is required in the car.

for parts i am not sure in pindi..

too many owners means that the car may not have been taken care of properly..
mostly single owner cars are well taken care of,

parts availability is a problem.. parts are comparatively expensive... how ever taiwanese parts are relatively easier to find... japanese parts are rare and expensive..

Assalam o alaikum to all the Pakwheelers & especially to the Charade lovers. I am in need of some guidance about my Charade, 86 (G30-Original Diesel), 1996 reconditioned. It is in white colour & presently under restoration process. Can you people tell me whats the original colour of bumpers & grill in such cars- are these come in matching colour or plain black. And please also tell me, will the bumpers & grill look great in white matching colour or in black.

Your response 7 guidance would be highly appreciated.

the bumper and grills were matt black.. and they look great on white..

the original white color code for charade is 041. i have the same diesel turbo in mostly original condition.

white bumper main woh khas look nahi aati..
and white bumper pay halka sa scratch bhi par jai to bura lagta hai...
