Dear Charade Lovers!!!
Thought i share my Charade experience wid u guys , i had this Gtti almost 4 yrs back , it was unfinished project of one friend ,its said "one man's trash is another man's treasure" . charade always appealed to me ,never had front wheeled car ,so this one was 1st and last .Always had Rear wheeled cars....anyways ...motor was carby 1.3 four cylinder daihatsu motor in it ,pretty decent for the size of car ,good torque ,had 4 wheel discs ...one thing i dont understand ,that under hard braking at high speeds it use to slide from rear ,felt like drifting (H). discussed wid charade owners ,they had the same issue , i guess this was due to less weight at rear ,the gas cylinder was removed after driving 40km , 1st cng exp too ,cng is the worst thing to hit this country , well had loads of fun , it xchanged two hands after selling , saw at liberty dragging civic two years back...now its some where at band rd .lahore...
