Hi i am sharing my reply to a PakWheeler so as to benefit everyone. Please read his email first (at bottom) before reading my reply - Obaid-------------------------------------------------
Hi Anas,
first of all forget Alto. Cuore is a good car is terms of resale, mileage and to some extent comfort (it is smaller inside than QQ) however the good thing about Cuore is its made by Toyota and it is much more reliable than Alto and will last much longer and give less trouble. Now lets come to QQ - QQ is about the same cost as Cuore AC+CNG but is much roomier inside than either. Its AC is adequate, seats are as comfortable as a civic and ride is very good with good firm grip of road and you can be safe in knowledge it has the heaviest body of all small cars with lots of safety features not found in any 800cc car such as side impact bars, seat belts on all seats (5 belts), collapsible steering and a strong body. There are many amenities in the car such as power windows, Power steering, power side view mirrors and central locking/security system as standard. the build quality of dash and all platic components is much better than Alto and even cuore (which was rather surprising). Spare parts are available These are all the plus points, now lets come to the -ve points i've discovered in the last 8 months i have had the car - There is poor resale - Be prepared to lose atleast Rs.50k if you want to sell within few months of buying the car. The fuel economy is average if not a little higher than other 800cc cars - nowadays in winter the car is giving me Rs.2/km in city. In summers it goes to around Rs.2.5/km in city. On long routes nowadays it does Rs.1.5/km. Pak Chery says this is due to the Programing of the engine which is not set for fuel available in Pakistan. They say they will upgrade this programing of the EFI engine of my car but i have'nt yet heard from them since a month. Secondly the acceleration of QQ is average - often Mehran, Alto, Cuore will easily overtake it especially on CNG. The acceleration on CNG+AC with 4 people in car is quite dismal - this is due to the heavy body of the car and the small 800cc engine not able to put out enough power to accelerate as much as other cars. I have also noticed a particular sound from engine at certain RPMs but Chery people say thats normal. Also the front suspension makes a minor 'thud' noise while turning on bumpy roads. My mother and wife like the car but complain the gear shift is still hard. The black console of the dash is fragile and u have to be carefull not to expose it to any chemicals or it will fade and the one in my car needs adjustment as it makes an annoying 'kirkir' noise on bumpy roads. Other than all this there are no problems. The car has not given me any breakdowns and has been very reliable - even in cold winter mornings nowadays it easily starts on the first self/ignition and its heater is good.
If you can live with the problems i have listed above which may or may not affect every QQ - but has in the few QQ owners i have talked to - then go for it, best of luck in buying a car. Let me know what you get.
Regards,
Obaid

Hello,
You have received message from Anas
I'd like have your comments on this car, cherry QQ. So far I've been impressed by coure automatic. I don't know if I should be impressed or not. Anyhow, I went to Suzuki showroom to see how alto feels and frankly I couldn't fit in the driver's seat. I am pretty tall; over 6 2". However coure was comfortable for me in this regard.
I'd like to have your input with regards to use of cherry QQ in terms of spare parts availability, maintenance costs, mileage, comfort, resale and its comparison to alto and coure in all other respects.
Would appreciate your feedback!
Thanks and regards,
Anas.
