Chery Experience
After completion of initial running , i decided to get experience of Chery on long route. so decided to go Multan.
Now I am back to home and here is my experience about this car.
Comfort
=!=A.C.
You all know about the summer of Multan , I travelled with my children and found no problem with A.C. it worked excellent.
During day time, I switched on the A.C to level 2 and sometimes to 3 (maximum is 4) but during night children complaint of cold when I used level 2 , so had to switch to level 1. both cooling and throw are superb.
=!=Seating
It took 10 hours me to reach to Multan (I did not drive rush on GT Rd. due to children)
Me ,my wife , 2 children all were sitting comfortably (along with luggage I will give you tip later at the end). I did not feel tiredness even after 10 hrs drive. My children enjoyed sleep comfortably.
=!=Others
steering, Power steering made drive smooth & silky.
did not get any hardness in gears. Except sometime could not apply reverse gear in first go (that might be some issue at my side)
Breaks , I had to applied emergency break at one place (some stupid Honda man was trying to overtake wrongly from opp. direction).
I was at 90Km/h at that time and felt no problem in applying break, no slips.... in fact A XLi guy coming behind me had problem in break and his car slipped on rd. my brother in law was sitting on back seat and enjoying music and did not notice what happened . me and person on co-driver seat knew.
Broad Windscreen helped me alto to have good visibility of rd. all the time
Music, I had replaced built-in caste player with MP3. so enjoyed the music with 4 premium speaker, my brother in law did not believe that I am using just speakers without any amplifier as quality of sound was suburb.
All Powers, 2 power mirrors helped me to control my mirrors to point out desired location, and power windows with parental lock helped me to control my naughty children from open the windows
Consumption
yes I admit , little bit more consumption was a problem which I faced in whole trip
it cost me approx. Rs.2 Per KM , 40wl cyl gave me 95-115 KM (depends on different CNG stations)
I had to use petrol hardly maximum 30-40 Kms. so cant say anything about that.
Maximum speed which I achieved on CNG was 130 KM at motorway with out no problem, I could exceed but did not as I had afraid of MP police
Problems :
I had little bit problem in overtaking / moving upward rd. with CNG + AC. so for that time I stopped AC.
I had to switch to petrol during return at salt range area , i felt difficult with CNG. also wanted to avoid load on engine t
I think these both problems are due to settings not a car problem overall.. and can be fixed easily by proper mechanic.
for this i will visit Chery dealer sooner.
any person who faced such a problems and now solved please guide me how he fixed that issues
Final opinion
My and my wife's opinion is this car has value for money. and really enjoyed....
If you have chery , and yet not drive on long route , do it man.. you will love it...
Note:
During whole trip , ppl. in other cars (except Honda , Toyta XLi) turned the face and looked at car the many ppl at CNG stations made enquiry about car.
