The Bottorm Line is...
By Support Adam Motor company you are KEEPING the Money of Pakistan in PAKISTAN, not shoveling it out to China, Japan or Korea.
I understand the engine in Revo is Chinese but it won't be for long REVO is already making changes to the interior and side mirrors of the car plus Engine is also set to be Made in Pakistan.
I do not care much about REVO, since I am not even in Pakistan, or will be Pakistan for a long time to come. The only reason I give it any consideration is due to the fact that it is better for Pakistan if Pakistanis learn to buy Pakistani Made Products, to make Pakistan a developed Nation. Yes, it matter when you choose an IMPORT over a product that is readily being made in Pakistan. You are Sending money out of Poor Pakistan, which needs it desparately at this point in time. Keep every Penny in Pakistan, re-invest in Pakistan.
But unfortunately, Pakistan currently has NET DEFICIT in its Trade Balance and main culprit after FUEL IMPORTS are the Cars being imported from abroad, whether parts for the Assembled cars, like Honda CIVIC or Corolla which only have 20% Pakistani local content or these new Imports like Chevy Joy or Chery QQ. This is a complete and useless drain on Pakistani Economy. The government does not care, they just Borrow money from World Bank, or ADB, or other institions for pay for these Imports. We are not Arabs, whom have the luxury of importing everything, we are a poor country, we need to start making everything in Pakistan just like, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, China, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, INDIA.. etc. are doing. Otherwise, Pakistan will NEVER be a prosper counry, but always depend on others....
Thats is the only reason I favor local made, assembled car. Even Mehran is a better buy, which helps put Pakistanis to work, i.e. 70% of mehran is Made in Pakistan, and TOTAL imports like chinese or anyother cars are 100% imports, and a complete BURDEN on one of the poorest country of the WORLD, PAKISTAN.
Plus FYI, I am US citizen, I do not even need to favor REVO, I have access to All the best cars in the World, I am not showing off here... It only that Pakistan is NOT at a stage where it can KEEP ON IMPORTING... It is only making is more POORER every year. Only a tiny percentage of Pakistan is in state of buying a luxury such as a new car, WHY not buy one that is made in Pakistan or MADE to some extent in Pakistan and support that POOR country's economy. This is how it is done all over the world, except in OIL rich ARAB countries whom do not care, since they got all the free money growing out of the ground, in form of BLACK gold called OIL. We in Pakistan should NOT follow ARABS and depend only on IMPORTS..
Hope it helps.
