The Storm2 is a world away from the stuffy Toldeo based first generation Storm (Fulwin). It’s more rounded, its a more petite offering, it’s basically a whole new car. The Storm 2 prices are as follows:

• Base model – 52,800rmb (approx 6.47lac PKR)
• Standard – 56,800rmb (approx 6.95lac PKR)
• Luxury – 59,800rmb (approx 7.32lac PKR)
• Aristocracy – 61,800rmb (approx 7.57lac PKR)

At the moment, the Storm2 is based on a 1.5L engine mated to a 5 speed manual, an automatic version is due to be launched in the next few months.

Chery have apparently built the Storm2 around Chery’s own “Four S Principle’ which is

1. Safety (built to 4 star crash protection, and built with same safety specs as other higher end Chery cars)
2. Sporty (1.5L ATECO engine, and also the overall design of the interior and exterior)
3. Science (again, the engine with its fuel saving abilities. Also low level of interior noise)
4. Space – The Fulwin2 has a wheelbase of 2527mm and boasts a storage space of 450 litres, which can be extended to 1000L.

^That is a very good question but I am afraid you are not the first to ask it but no one stil knows the answer!

Instead of screaming copy, how about admiring that they're trying. I still don't see any PK cars even CLOSE to this level of quality. My family has owned both Bolan/Carry Dabba and a Chang'an Kalam. The quality differnce is massive.

Let's see Pakistan make a fuel injected car. PakSuzuki is still selling prehistoric carburated mice.

Bro there is no comparison between Pak auto industry and China at all. And there is no Pakistani Car as such (other than the defunct Adam motors cars)...Pakistan still does not have the capability to produce an auto motive engine...Although Production volume is high technical capability is very depressing..The Bolan Dabba was never designed in Pakistan, it is basically a Pakistani assembled version of the late 1970s Bedford Rascal/Suzuki Carry...and with regard to Carbeaurated cars, its extremely depressing to see that Pakistan still has yet to adopt emission standards which even African countries/india adopted years ago. Pakistan is the only place in the world where Suzuki still produces carburetor based 1980s era engines and the only place in the world where an obsolete 4th generation carby Daihatsu Mira(cuore) is still being produced.

Chery Strom 2 seems like an awesome car with an awesome price..8.5 lakhs for fully equipped 1.5 L is amazing..

however i'd not be surprised if this car sold well in pk as here everyone wants a "shiney" car regarless of the safety features....

Hi storm. Please take a look at the safety features available in Chery QQ which is available in Pakistan. Side impact beams and front crumple zones to speak of a few. That car is safer than any of the local cars. If it had airbags, it would be comparable to the tiny mighty vitz. Trust me... I have seen those cars all opened up.
