Very correct. The Chinese entrants in the market will force these old giants to sit up and take notice, It is just a matter of 2-3 years when the public will expect ADAS etc from all cars. Even the Suzuki Alto now has air bags. I was a firm Honda customer who has owned no less than 4 various zero meter cars since 1997 till 2023 when I felt that for the same money if I went Chinese, I got so much more. Hence I switched.
To strengthen my argument, let me draw the attention to the days when Daewoo bus was newly introduced on M2. Back then it was a revolutionary way of traveling. Upper end of society who would never think of bus travel took to travelling on the Daewoo. But in just a few short years (Sky Ways. Bilal Travel, Faisal Movers etc.) everybody copied that business model and even followed the same blue and white colour scheme (totally no imagination), even had a lady stewardess on board etc etc. So mark my words, the three giants will have to up their game if they want to remain relevant the market..
