it seems to be a good car. the available choice is increasing this category and the companies are forced keep there prices starting around 800000 due to competetion.
the quality of the locally assembled cars can be easily assessed by the impact of the imports of second hand cars. according to my information honda had offer discount on city in order to maintain sales some time ago, i am not sure whether its still there or not. dewan is offering discount on santro for the same reason.
i waiting for some car to be introduced in competetion in 800 cc category. currently there are four cars in the category, revo, mehran, coure and i think that QQ is also 800. all of them do not give any hard time to each other. as revo is still new entrant, mehran although not as cheap as revo but very cheap otherwise. coure is bit expensive although far better than mehran, but price wise it competes with alto rather than mehran. QQ is expensive for 800cc with a lot of features, but again competes with alto rather than mehran.
so i think that mehran still does not realy have competition due to which neither the quality is improved nor priced reduced not even the shape is changed.
