Yes , they do have an option to get curropt , while installing exterior body , but the chassis frame is beyond their control of curroption. as technically it has to be moulded in the same dye that HONDA provides them from JAPAN. Yes i have been keeping an eye on airbags DONT deploy issues , but if you do a little more search about it , most of these cases have ocured , by USER fault , they get the car serviced with water , without seperating the spark plugs , or driving in waterways , resulting in malfunction of electronic components , if even not satisfied , quality issues exist in rolls royce aswell ,( the recent recall) nothing like 100% quality exists to be realistic.

You have already mentioned yourself , that even if LOCALIZED , we have a ZERO EXPORT MARKET. so the income from EXPORTS is almost NILL.
NOW secondly , The devalued rupee , the inflated YEN, and DOLLAR , everyday increasing electricity COSTs , INSANE DUTIES. make the PRODUCTION COST, far more.
so what would you do as a business man ? like if you owned honda..
the same part that you import and it costs you , lets say 50k , it would cost you , a 100k , if you produce it here , plus never neglect the extra royalty you would have to pay to the JAPANESE , in return of their patents.
So ANY sane business ban Would not want to invest in this sector , where there is apparently NO RETURN against his investments.
