ive done a little calculation wether converting to cng is feasable or not. before u read any furthur, i should tell u tht my maths is very weak, so if there are any mistakes, ignore em.
Consumption on fuel
13 km/L
cost of petrol Rs. 50
Daily usage 50 km (on avg)
Monthly expense on fuel= 50km x 30 days =1500km
1500km / 13=115.38 ltr
115.38 x 50= 5769 Rs.

Consumption on CNG
it would do 100+km in a Rs.200 gas fill (assumingly)=Rs.2/ 1 km
Monthly expense on CNG=1500km x2=3000Rs.
saving= 5769 - 3000= Rs. 2769/month

saving per year= 2769 x 12= Rs 33,552

so if some body travels 2000km+ a month, he will cover the cost of cng kit installation in 1 yr. Also there are no extra expenditures on a cng car, no need for early oil change & things like tht.

ikhanr - Looks like we have the same dealer. The first tune-up will help, as first tune-up involves adjusting the valve clearance, you will def. notice a difference. I took a long trip to Mubarik Village and really tested the car on the broken roads on route. Abused the new car quite a bit, not a single noise from anywhere after the trip. I think you may have a one-off case. Your dealer is required to fix any noises as your car is under warranty. If you have 30% bad roads on route and back from work, then mileage will suffer, and yes, you will void warranty with CNG, that's standard for any car across the board. Another tip, always buy petrol from a trusted pump. I usually go to Shell, they have strict quality controls. Change gears early and don't accelerate hard unless needed. See if this helps.

Thanks a lot bnasir. The noise's been fixed. It was becuase of a loose ashtray. I will wait till the first tune-up and will check the mileage then.

Dear anyone help me about my chevrolet exclusive 0.8 fuel consumption it's no bad.
Its just give me 5.5km/ltr in the city with ac i have change fuel pump moter as well as filter ..
Kindly give me some solution
