That problem can arise due to many different factors, some of famous reasons are:
- lack of proper tuning. Go for some chevy expert mechanic in this regard. I've quite bad experiences with normal traditional mechanics, always prefer chevy expert mechanics
- bad quality/old spark cables, get these spark cables checked out by some good electrition. Buy GM Spark Cables from karachi replacing faulty spark cables
Spark Plugs: check spark plugs condition, if these are faulty or quite old then Get spark plugs replaced, I'll prefer to buy high quality spark plugs from Nexus Chevy Karachi
Are you talking about ignition coil? I think ignition coil mostly has to deal with car starting issues. Coil could be the reason but there are lesser chances, go for the above mentioned elements first, if you still face such issues then go for other options like coil, distributor, throttle body, air control valve, etc
Other than above mentioned tasks, go for these elements for better performance:
- Radiator service
- Use good quality coolant rather than tap water
- Use good quality fuel, search for best fuel pumps in your city. I often use Hi-octane once in a month, you can go for hi-octance if you found it a better option.
- You can use LiquiMoly Fuel Injector Cleaner
- check your transmission (gear) oil condition. Replace it if you haven't replaced recently
Its strange to know that you have to replace water bottle so often. You need to find out the real cause first rather than replacing the bottle so often. Although I'm not an expert but most popular causes could be radiator, damaged water pipe, incorrect placement of bottle, or some pipes, etc.
May i know from where and which quality parts do you buy for your chevy? low quality or 2 number parts could be reason behind such malfuncitoning
