n other problm is dat all imported cars hav kinda 150 % tax so means u r payin extra money ...........

Thats a "european" combination stalk configuration not because the vehicle is RHD converted. Daewoo, Peugeot, Vauxall, Volvo, Saabs all have this config even when available in Factory RHD.

yeah my vote goes out for optra aswell .. although I`ll choose honda civic over optra on any given day of the week ,but the thing is ,optras are really rare on the road,where as,every other person owns a civic these days.
anyway ,what color do you plan on buying?

hmmmm thanks a lot ppl i was informed by ma freind that on pak wheels u will get feedback from ppl, which i needed it badly, thanks for making my mind one way still iam in touch with the dealer to hold back pearl blk optra m/t for me, amazingly its without premium and ready delvery, i will be finalizin it by staurday till i get the purchase order from the bank.

acha guyz iam sure there must many civic user around but iam looking for genuine , honest feedback regarding civic 05, during my research i was shocked to find out that 05 civic is not same as it used to be(quality), correct me if iam wrong, looking for some feebback on 05' civic production.yar RHD AND LHD is not the issue cos u get all eu modle RHD like BMW or Merc anyway optra ana baand (stop) tou nahin hogi the reason i was informed by dealer that the company plan to come with local prodcution of exclsuive in dec05 and plan to launch more chevy model here in pakistan, but guyz lumina is not coming here

bon747 ,I`ve got 2 civics .. one is a 2001-02 vti oriel and the other is a 05 exi .. somehow my civics turned out just fine without any glitches .. the only problem i ran into was,the car pulled to the left,but i took it to the honda work shop and they fixed it for me for free. the engines for both exi and the vti are great to drive,fuel economical.the handling is awsome,and the quality aint that bad either.the styling ofcourse is killing.
please feel free to ask anything relating to the new civic.

haseeb ur rite i was told samething that the car pulls left by some civic user , but is there any noise coming while brake hard, civic user says it ABS noise. iam noticing that u have install a low profile tyres , do u recomend me tyre change if i go for optra .

that "gut gut gut" sound comes from the ABS brakes,but atleast the braking system works fine ,no such thing in the exi because theres no abs in the exi.
I wont recommend you installing low profile tyres in your optra ,if you plan on keeping it for more then 2 years ...I on the other hand,will sell this car in an years time so I put on low profile tyres .. plus low profile tyres take that comfort away when it comes to bumpy roads

Optra is a very good choice buddy. its good value for money. Honda has a bad safety record. it shatters and in many situations has gone into 2 pieces. optra is a very balanced car in all aspects.
