We reached Lowari Tunnel entrance around noon. Lowari Tunnel is opened on Monday- Wednesday- & Friday at 5pm (from Deer to Chitral), so we had to wait for a couple of hours for tunnel to open. In the meanwhile took some rest & explored surrounding.

We were allowed to enter tunnel somewhere around 4.30. It was like going through hell.... No Road- No Light- No Ventilation, bumpy jumpy dirt/ water trek with visibility of 5 to 7 feet only. This 9km tunnel took out heart out many a times but worst was it's exit towards Chitral.. steep down with very loose gravel, our car got a hit beneath & engine oil drained. So our car refused to start there. We inquired for mechanic & called a mechanic at Deer for rescue. He promised to reach by whatsoever means possible. So we had no alternate except to wait for him & we did so at a local hotel at Ziarat.

Our mechanic reached to us at midnight & he fixed our car. As that time was not suitable to travel ahead- so we decided to spend the night there & move in the morning. In the morning while our breakfast was being cooked & group members were packing- i picked my cam- did a lil exploration- & cam up with...

Also explored their local power house, it was very easy & simple yet very effective.

As is evident from the pic- water is collected & then dropped on the low head turbine that then revolves & generates power continuously.

After breakfast & checkout- departed for Chitral. These is no sign of road till Darosh
