City 1.3 vs Liana 1.3 (Both Stock) DRAG

Liana is a very nice car with better suspension, powerful engine, SIS CNG and other features than even City IDSI but the only problem is that it lacks Quality Control.

People always say that coz of the "S" batch people dont like liana which is true coz "S" batch is nototious for worst QC as far as Pak assembled cars are concerned. You see owner crying for mostly Cultus, Mehran. Surprisingly figures are low for both Liana and Alto

i have checked with all cars lancer 1.5l, 1.3l, corolla gli & xli, city idsi, vits & civic dolphen. if anyone karachi city stermatic let me know i wanna check with it.

city is a fuel economy car

yar ye car meri efi cultus sa har gai thi...liana to dur ki baat ha...liana is very stronge....yara never did exact race with these cars

koch arsa pehla ki thi....my gli with city...city lost by more then 4 cars gap...and liana was head to head with my gli...so liana is quicker

Umer 219: Mechanics always speak different whereas engine is Margala is real shit and old technology.

Whereas Liana engine is made on scale VVT tech with Twincam 1328 cc displacement @ 78 bores. Rest power window perfect drive controls , road grip , brakes even in rxi w/o abs and internationaly sold . Whatelse you want in real low price range? Where as you can compaire it with XLI by its advantages and price.

Its best in petrol by all means but in CNG best way is to get it on petrol and then convert on CNG without changing its injectors and adding twin spark plugs.

you should consider the fact that City IDSI is not meant for racing and no one should claim that, it is a nice economical family sedan that lives up to its expectations.

If you wanna compare 1.3 cars then do so with old 1.3 City Hypervalve.

BTW: Margalla 1.3 is a damn fast car form 0 till 120 but not after that

liana gives around 14km/ltr on petrol, which is not bad, and cng mileage of around 150city,honda city simply cannot match that,,feature list of liana 1.3(lxi)is better than city.

you should consider the fact that Suzuki Liana is not meant for racing and no one should claim that, it is a nice economical family sedan that lives up to its expectations.,,

and i am hundred percent sure u have never driven a Baleno and liana, baleno smokes old hyper valve, baleno was 80 bhp, vs hyper valve 75 bhp,

and one think more try to apply brakes on older hyper valve vs baleno from 100 km/hr , i can assure, u baleno will stop 5 feet short.

first of all none of the cars we have are for drags but we have to do with what we own. Cant expect to buy an additional Lambo for this

I agree Baleno is very fast and we have videos on PW of Baleno beating a 1.3 city hyper valve. Still my point which you did not understand is that City IDSI should not be included at all in any 1.3 races since it is the slowest of them all.

As for driving a Liana/Baleno. My younger brother had a black Liana RXI CNG so i have driven it a lot and a bit of my Friend's baleno as well.

Liana has some additional features but when I saw my bro taking his new Liana to the Suzuki workshop every week so it made me wonder.

I myself owned a 2005 City IDSI manual and now a steermatic and both cars are very reliable

100% agree with u...it should not be in this list....this car is made by honda for spacial fuel economy...cuz all honda cars r very bad on fuel economy if we r taking about honda......

well, at least u r accepting that Honda City has the lousiest pickup among all 1300cc's.

guys, when cars are being compared, every parameter is considered...look, quality, features, handling, power etc.

just because u accept City has poor pickup doesn't mean it should not be in the list. Every potential new buyer considers all these features, and has the right to know!

@wahaj: i disagree not every one is on PW talking about dragging their 1.3 cars and if that is the case like you said then how come City out sells Liana by a mile!!!

Also Honda cars are not at all heavy on feul, if my 1.5 vtec steermatic on petrol can give been 11.5km/l and sometimes even 12km/l within city what more do you expect?

No one claimed on PW ever that City IDSI has great pickup coz we "Honda" owners tend to live in reality
