Though i believe in this particular situation steermatic will beat exi and give tough time to vti and steermatic is a fast car....but please can u please control your emotions its just too much you are glorifying steermatic as if its a worrier or Ferrari....Its just a good cheap sedan car mainly intended to satisfy people who wanted fun at reasonable price ....... Shape of city was highly criticized when it came (isteri shape etc) .... i like its interior and engine performance but exterior of systematic is certainly not of a prettiest local cars.....Please be little modest in ur praises for the might steermatic...........although it was great car it failed to get good attention from buyers and buyer preferred exi and Atlas had to discontinue it due to bad sales .......

Sorry for disappointing my Pakwheels fellows especially @accord7362 and @incognito. I have to pull out from this competition for numerous factors which are as follows:

1. I have never raced before,
2. My car has a CNG cylinder in it's bum... ,
3. My intent to race got out at home (Thanks to my little brother) and I have been forbidden (yes, even at this age)
4. One other pretty strong reason which is private.

With all that said I believe that the Steermatic will be faster due to it's higher power to weight ratio. How do I know this? I have driven Mr. Incognito's Steermatic.

Sirs, with all due respect to all posters and owners of their respective cars.

I have driven a Civic on a racetrack and it has a much superior cornering limit and chassis balance then a Honda City.

Civic is simply in another league, so if you want to compare a 1.5L VTEC with a non VTEC 1.5L that too with an A/T, on a straight line with steering locked at the middle, you can happily say anything about Civic.

But in real world Civic can beat any Honda City even with a b16 on a race track, with a wide margin.

I strongly oppose street racing else I can show any City owner what it takes to corner and overtake in real world, rather then taking a cell phone on a clear street and showing the power of clutch, making a video of two cars with totally unequal engines and driven by drivers with different driving skills.

City cannot deny the laws of physics.

We should respect all the posters and their cars, most of us (including me) can be really sensitive about their cars.

well 15 vtec is 7 speed while 1.6 vtec is normal 5 gear

anyhow 1.5 engine is upgraded and it got more spark plugs then a vti

Sir I do not have the facility to track test the car.

My brother was a member of Race City Motorsport Park at Calgary, Canada, I was in a car trading company, they take 500-750$ for track testing that includes driving lessons, lunch and recording a lap time.

Semi pro sports cars like Mazda RX7 bi turbo 480BHP and Corvette C6R were also available to race for hourly charge out rate.

I do not think there is any decent track in entire Karachi or Pakistan.

Sir I have driven the North American EX and Si Civic as well as Mazda 3 and Honda Fit Sport 1.5L on the race track.

Honda City Steermatic All the way....if ny 1 wana buy a honda civic then he shud go for the VTI either eid Sr or without Sr.........cz Vti can compete wid Steermatic not Exi....n about breaking system of Exi ....v had 05 exi and it slipped away for many times as it also dnt have ABS ........!!!!!!!!Road grip is some how more than steermatic due to its wide n lowered shape!!!!

went to Multan on 18th Nov(day after Eid) encounter EXI so we had a great fun as it was not much traffic on road but in the end EXI was surprised that why she was not able to catch steermatic !!!!!!!!!!!!!
