This reply can only be expected from you.BUt idsi engine is not compatible with new city unlike rolla.They cant build their own engine or transmission
Honda fan boy will always strike on a post against honda.Instead of agreeing and strike on negative points of a car ,they point another company and car for other features.

and by iDSI City i meant the 2003-2008 MODEL Honda City not just the Engine
instead of discontinuing it they could just keep on producing it to cut production costs

toyota put cabin filter even in xli too, i have 2009 modle and i changed one thats why i know that.

My Swift has one. I clean it regularly to maintain air conditioning quality.

This is surprising actually. If u dont have a cabin filter, wont dust etc end up in ur breathing space? :s

whats the price of Cabin filter ? Honda North does not have it they say its not recommended . how can they say this.? i guess if we had this filter our AC will never need servicing so quick as we would just change its filter instead of full A/c service. PRICE of filter of Civic 2009 please?

these cabin filters are available at montogomery road. my 2007 corolla came with an empty tray, i came to know when i stumbled across an old thread on the issue. i found one at montogomery road, however you can also fit those foam type filters which were used in old window type acs. and it reduces blower speed by around 5% (very slight) and i never get that dust blown in my face when i turn on blower after long periods

should i go to honda ppl and do a warranty claim or is this cabin filter meant to be an empty plastic tray in all city's 2009-2011.

Guys am surprised to see my Civic 2009 oriel also no filter just a same plastic tray. Long live pakistani they by not adding this filter makes money and creates alot of problems for us.

it is absent in 2009 only or all civics? we got one 2011 oriel in family, let me tell my cuzan to check it:o

nthing to worry about. i have a same city n what my ac guy did broke the square thingies and only a net was left, placed the filter on it n its 2nd year its goin good. bought it for 500rs.

haha... thats a common info these days... if yur city is 2009, then ur evaporator will be over 50% clogged with dust by now.

they don't even put that thing in a 2 million honda civic. U can get it easily from the honda guyz.. infact people like me, who know there would be an empty tray, don't take their cars away from the showroom unless they show you that filter is there...

corolla 2008 onwards has this filter.
