True. Altis 1.6 has become far better than City Aspire for obvious reasons.

Corolla is the latest generation while City is using its 5th generation in Pakistan (no 6th Generation was introduced) and 7th May come next year perhaps.

Enjoying a 10 year old technology with cosmetic upgrades (city) is like Mehran offering us something from back in 1989

Actually I m planning to buy a new car budget is max 2.5 million, searching that is it worth to buy altis 1.6 or some other as I m not in hurry or wait for city New shape or vois which is expected in last quarter of this year according to rumours, as delivery time is Nov Dec for altis 1.6

Brother, i did consider it

The problem is my whole office parking lot is full of "pool cars" corolla xli / gli / altis .... my ride within those would look like just another pool car. To be honest i am actually sick of corolla as i have been using it since many years and the one if i would want (new uplift) is going to be out of my budget.

All those Altis Grande features for 2018, i can easily get in civic 9th Gen, perhaps even more features are available in civic than new altis grande

I just thought it so coz 2016 top of the line will go upto 2.3 M plus where as CVT corolla 1.8 above has the same resale price just like 1.3 / 1.6 Auto which i think is a gud deal. A Frnd got 40k driven bumper to bumper untouched neat car in 1950k which is not a bad deal at all....

Get 9th Gen originally less than 50k as above 50k milage cars are having Cat Cons choking issues as well

Suppose if there is one 2016 Grande for around 1.9 Million approx., it would still be having slower re-sale than variants of 1.3 and 1.6 ... yes ?

On the other hand, can we upgrade it outer shape to uplift ? if yes then i guess within 50K plus / minus ?

I guess you are touchy about the uplift thing. Which i feel frankly should be least important. Still if you want it so replace the rear ligjts and Garnish.... which with replacement can be accomodated....

The resale is from brand new to 1st resale.... abb 19 say kam ho kar 15 ki tou honay say rahi next 2 / 3 years mein.... i guess it will give you the actual amount after 2 years coz people are really fed up of 1.3 Auto and prices will be far above after 2 years.

As per your mind set look for oem 2015/16 chrome handle and hony comb grill wali car.... it will be lesa driven and mint.... iss say pechay wali 9th Gen sparingly hi saaf milay aap ko... depends on luck and hard work for finding the car

The reason for uplift is natural, to get the best possible outcome of spending. I usually keep cars for 4 to 5 years so I'd like as recent as possible. but you are right, it doesn't count whether uplift or not its more of cosmetic part

Please for godsake do not waste money on honda city its 10 year old obsolete car and seriously uncomfortable. You will regrette after spending 2 million. Rather buy a clean civic 2016 and enjoy life.
