i guess there are timing locks in fiat which you hav to screw on before removing the belt so that the timing is not disturbed... you know more than me on that...

Cars in Karachi are specially prone to rust due to moisture in the air. This problem worsens if one lives near the beach such as Clifton or Defence.

Undercarriage of the car is specially prone to rust. Get your car on a lift and check the undercarriage yourself in broad day light. As far as Hondas are concerned, I personally believe that their undercarriages are stiffer built than most people believe them to be. Anyways there is no harm in checking but you should have done this at the time of pupurchase.

Goodluck with your car when you go to the mechanic.

i will Recommend U some thing you must have to try i hope your car will be fine.i have some experince about the bad fuel consuption.
1) chnage your plug FRom NGk to Denso chnage company .but use that number which honda Recommend for that number read onwer manual.
2) change Mobil oil to CALTEX Formula oil
3) the conditions you have tell that shows your cars ignition timing is retire . and adjust it to 5-7. try to advance it using timing light
4) ideal RPM should be 1000+-50
5)adjust your valve clearence according to manual
6)Use fuel booster or carben cleaner to remove carban
7)change your air filter (try to get original)
8)change coolent of ur rediator
These things will increase ur fuel average. let u try this and inshallah ur car will be better . if u need some help again then post the messege to me

If u read the Service manual(technical or PIT manual) of any company like toyota nad honda . they Recommend to check it after every 50000kms. and as he said his car is over 50000kms. a chamical is used in that coolent which is decompose on heating .so it become only color full water but the original purpose does not Fulfill .so after 50000kms chnage the car coolent .if u can buy a 9lac car then u cant spend 80-90 rupies on ur car.concern a good Engineer in a good pit shop they will guide you

maintenance delayed .. fuel filter was changed at 45000...

still observing the car.. and its readings...

actually.. got no time to take it to workshop.. so just cruising along... for a week or two

I got the old City 1.3

I started to get 8km/l for some odd reason when usually I get 11km/l (on A/C 80% of the time)

Got the throttle body serviced. That solved the problem ...

the TPS and MAP aint working... get em checked

service the whole throttle body and check the voltages by a simple multimeter at TPS and MAP.

changing where i get the refuelling from made sum difference...dont use shell... caltex or pso are good...

got its throttle body serviced.. and also got the car inspected on Honda Daignoser....there was nuthing wrong with the ecu...all was fine...

the car is averaging around 14 with full ac...

average will improve as a/c usage is minimizing day by day..
