City vs Belta

nd according to me belta has the same 2nzfe as rolla,nd in sm modls there is 2szfe aswel,correct me if m wrong....to me its again smthing underpowered.

Bro it is even more underpowered than Local XLI/GLI.
We tested Belta 1.3 with Corolla 1.3 for hill climb of Taj Mehel Hotel Murree.
Corolla due to being manual climbed the hill very easily without any stop or problem where belta struggled to get to top due to its CVT transmission that is crap

I will suggest you city over 1.0L belta. 1.3L belta is good but problem is its transmission. Which is CVT.

CVT is very unresponsive in small engines but in bigger engines its response is good like Premio Or Corolla Axio.Moreover its fail at CNG

I have kept both. City is bigger than belta in size and the difference is not minor city just looks small but it insn't.

One more fact that belta is more spacious from inside than city.Its leg room and rear seat is very large

if u r comparing 1000cc belta wid city then belta is total flop, if u r comparing 1300 cc belta then equal performance but city will beat belta in economy and resale in all cases

I am interested in comparing Honda City 1.3 M/T (new shape) with Toyota Belta 1.0 A/T.

Primary parameters shall be the fuel efficiency, drive, re-sale and overall experience.

Ok, People are again talking about drag races here. Let me give you the answers to your questions.

fuel efficiency: Belts 1.0 Ltr is definitely going to be more fuel efficient.

drive: Belta's drive will be much more comfortable as City's supension is harder, but the 1.0 Ltr engine will be less responsive as compared to the City's

re-sale: City's re-sale will be slightly better over the years as it has a Honda badge and people like to own it because they think it is a mini-civic (which it is not)

overall experience: This term is relative. depends on personal preferences and choices. I would go for a 1.3 Ltr Belta with all the bells and whistles. It would be a much more pleasurable and satisfying experience for me.

I am driving belta 1.0 for the last 3 years, previously I had City... I would prefer belta 1.0 over city coz its economical and its power is not typical pakistani 1.0 ... i have driven this car on 170 km/hr with A.C. lastly its fuel economy is very good. I have witnessed fuel average of 23km/l while driving it on 100 to 110 km/hr. its road grip A.C and almost every thing is perfect.. only negative point is its performance on CNG. as I am driving it on petrol so no problems with me.
