The above mentioned points enable wasay's civic to 'stay on tail' of Civic 1.8 PROSMATEC which was 'BONE STOCK' that too till only 120 kph. After that R18 starts to pull away.

Wassay's civic is equipped with an intake, performance plugs and has undergone ground wiring which pretty much more or less make it a 'STAGE ONE' mods. If you have done otherstuff too then it doesnt mean Wassay's civic has Stage 0.7 or 0.8 Mods. No?

lol why u getting so biased for your beloved R18 . i didn't mention any match of my own ride with R18 i dun wana go into other discussion i just talked about the facts for wasay's car .i never met wasay personally i just saw those drag races and read the comments if he has done these thngs which you told in my opinion those are not a true stage one mods, those are just minor mods to improve response of the car not to push huge horses

Sir I dont know what are 'true' stage one mods near to you but what ever mods one does it altogether makes the car 'quicker' may it be stage one/two or three. So wassay has done SOMETHING which made his d16 quicker. So whats the fuss about?

well considering civic is modified...it can beat easily....no big deal....... cuz there is no limit in modification
a well modified charade wid engine swap can beat 350z...

This is not a race from where you can draw results. It has no info abt the cars technical sides.

I think u are new to car modifications...

Stage <0.5 = Stage1C
Stage <0.7 = Stage1B
Stage <1.0 = Stage1A

Stage <1.5 = Stage2C (a pw member has a corolla XRS with this modification)
Stage <1.7 = Stage2B
Stage <2.0 = Stage2A

and so on...

Formula for calculating stages:

stage 0.5 (1C) = has 50hp more than stock
stage 0.7 (1B) = has 70hp more than stock
stage 1.0 (1A) = has 100hp more than stock

and so on...

2azfe runs better in scion tc if your so interested to race with 2azfe engine.

why would anyone buy camry with same engine as Lexus. that was a flop idea from toyota. people prefered lexus350 over camry

camry only has its engine.IS350 is compact executive while camry is mid size economy car

In racing, the engine capacity doesn't matter! I have seen a Modified Civic D16 smoking an Evo 8 in a roll-on. And this Civic R18 is stage-1 modified and it pretty much has the ability to smoke a Camry 2.4. Period!
