@raoaltafthis could have been fixed if u took attention when it started.proper way was to cover it with tape when it started and went to get it fixed near stadium.(tape prevent dust and dirt seeping inbetween)give it a try,go to shaan windscreen shop and check if he can still do something to stop it at this point

Screen of my old car also cracked but due to some stone hitting out of a nearby bus's tyre. the crack was similar to @raoaltaf car but it was spreading in two directions like a mustache. I got it fixed from stadium road. The crack was not repeaired but it never cracked any further.I think people parking cars under direct sun should atleast put the car cover on. It will give a lot of protection and always leave some gap in the windows. for air to circulate

I went to Shan Wind Screen and they estiamted Rs.2100/- which is rs. 100 per inch. So i decided to get a new one instead of repairing the onld one.just got back from sadar
@raoaltafthat was quick sent a colleague with city 2003, charged him 1200 i think but i guess the crack lenth was shorter.crack expands with temperature difference. in extreme heat turn to defoger and put full AC on and see the whole windscreen crack in minutes LoL
Yes gap was about 21 inch this time i will be very careful. will have car windows down a little bit to give air flow.Thanks
