engine hydraulic mount is also gone very little gap remaining in the hydraulic system and its dam expensive honda is giving it for 12500. . any good cheaper solution available ? ? ?

cheaper way is to get thailand made mount,u can go to reliable spare part shop.....maybe u can get genuine mount in less price than Atlas Honda or other brand of the same mount in half price of wat honda quote

sooner or later you may need to change the all 4 mounts in your car 1 each for right & left 1 each for transmission rear & front for better performance stick to OEM mounts so stability of car is not compromised

guys help karo i am unable to find the problem and even mechanic is saying that nothing is wrong but kaya karron still having same morning vibration only during reverse. . !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no bro this is some different type of vibration which is only occurring in the morning and only in reverse.

Irfan this is the same issue have a look at your hydraulic mount, u can get a hydraulic mount from PKR 3500 other than honda outlet

Honda is asking PKR 12500 for this.

this is a very common problem in 8th gen civic.

Oh sorry bro i mixed with another article of same type, just read it and now convinced that its the engine mount which is causing this problem. but one technical thing i dont understand is that why is it happening only in the morning and only in reverse whereas whole day my car is parked outside my office & when in the evening approximately after 8 hours when i start my car things stays normal no abnormality in reverse or any other thing.

so like what is it which is different in the morning !!!! its not even cold in karachi, so cant say cold start !!!!!!!!

It doesnt seems to be the mounting problem brother....is ur car on petrol or CNG?....if its on CNG then understand it that every automatic car comparatively more vibrate on R than in D...secondly check ur air filter..if its badly choke then this problem emerges..replace the air filter and then check..and lastly dont think too much about these kind of problems in cars.....

bro airfilter is new, car is purely on petrol driven 35k only, i dont know first i thought it was breaks problem got them checked and serviced everything was fine in the braking system. so now the only thing which is remaining is the damn engine mount apparently it looks ok to me but as per the article posted above its internal hydraulic failed which causes different sort of vibrations in the car. exact same problem which is mentioned in the article is happening with me, the car gets normal as soon as the engine temp reaches the optimum level.

had the exact same problem. Replaced the engine mounting, everything is back to perfect. One more thing DO NOT go for the cheaper solutions, you will regret it BIG TIME. Only use genuine parts, they eventually pay off.

yaar spending 13k on a mount is too much, i heard Thailand one is also of good quality, whereas Chinese ones are craps.

the choice is totally yours. I did the very same, got the Thai one for 4k. the ride was still bumpy and vibration was very much there. And to my surprise it was totally useless within a month. Got the original one for 9k in a special deal. Got it fitted for 500 and my ride is as good as before. The rest as I said is totally your choice. BUT YOU WILL REGRET IT.

A bad mount will put more stress on the other ones and take them out prematurely. If you have a bad mount, replace it as soon as possible.
