Is it taking even a slightest rotation? With a dead battery, when you turn the key, the engine should get a slight push and then lights and everything will go dim.If the lights do no go dim when you try to start it then its a problem with immobilizer or something else

Get it checked by Honda and don't mention your kids- try to put all the blame on the car. The last thing you want is them trying to void your warranty.

bro he quoted that starting the engine gives tic tic sound abd all the lights blink with it no need to go for honda just jump start it with another battery
Looks like a battery issue. I've noticed the battery water drains out pretty quick in this car and I've always needed to refill it with battery water after every 5 thousand kms from the honda dealership.I guess your kids drained out the battery...get it jump started and make sure the battery water is up to the mark.

battery terminal's are not fixed properly or either your battery is dead .don't get tensed it's a minor issue
Seems like a dead battery to mei have unlocked my car with the the key several times just hear it scream nothing happens. Car starts normallytry jump starting it by connecting it with another battery

Good but if it keeps giving problem even after couple of runs then your battery might have a short cell and that means tine to buy a new one.
On a side note what is the battery light for? When does it turns on and what does it indicates
Lesson learned when in a civic 9th gen all lights are working mirrors working meter n mid lights are ok indicators working amd yet on sulf push we have a trrrrick trrrick sound and display flickers with it then the battery is down. I had noticed low battery before but lights etc go low n finally dim n then down as i own two manual corollas 2007 model n 2010 model both had this case also there is a battery low indication in the meter with battery sign and nevr leave a baby monster inside car
