But my good luck m stisfied with car fuel average..
Long route with a.c 14km
And in the city 10km
In the long route Without a.c is 16 & 17
In the city without a.c it has been 12 &13
Its amezing.....

Hi brother you are very lucky that your car is giving this good millage. Mine is giving 7.5km in and long recently done it gave me I guess 12km/l I am very much disappointed from this car before this purchased I was having baleno 2004 low millage only 145k km done and was very well kept car I miss that car it's fuel and drive. Kindly suggest any tips...reply soon. Exi 2005 185k done.

Throttle wash and scan but the mechanic said that everything is OK,

He messed up something. Most probably TPS sensor. Take it back to him.

i also running with the same issue i am getting same 7.5 to 8kmpl with AC in city even under 2000 rpm. And on Highway i get 13 kmpl with AC at 80 to 90 km/h velocity. remember my car is also the manual one i have check this milleage on different oil grades like 5w30, 10w30 and 20w50 but no change.

have change every thing related to this.

fuel injectors
fuel filter
air filter
oil filter
different engine oils
timing belt
tappet setting
no engine check light or any code
every sensor reading is in good condition
changed pcv valve
used high octance only got additional 0.5 kml on average
changed plugs with stock NGK
temperature reaches its optimum; needle at mid
i have obd sccanner which gives readinng of temperature on 96-97 fan kicks in till it decreases to approx 90 degree then it gets off. but with AC temperature is ranges between 86 to 90 C.

even without AC its average isn't good at all its give 9 kmpl in city and 14 kmpl at highway

Your mileage on highway is not bad.
This car doesn't give more then 12 in city without ac.
Your is exi or vti?
And what's your driving style?

its EXI 1.5 stock d15y3 manual

i have seen people claiming that getting atleast 10 kmpl with AC in city and 14 kmpl with AC at 120 km/h.
and i am getting without AC 14kmpl even on 80-90kmpl and you are saying that its not bad.
and in city i am getting 7.5-8kmpl with AC under 2k rpm????.

i am not owning the CRUISER which give me such mileage like cruisers.

My friend had an exi in a pretty good shape. He never got more then 12 in city without ac and 10 with ac in city. And he shifts between 2-2.5k rpm.
It's a D series engine.
Between over filled Ac gas can decrease your mileage but I don't see that effecting on highway average.
Use an obd2 scanner and share fuel trims log here.

These models dont have oxygen sensor so there are no fuel trims for your kind information

Stock size is 185/65 R15. Btw this car should be getting between 10-11 in city driving with AC, and around 13-14 with A/C on the motorway at 120 km/h.

Just for lols, I once did 18 km/l and 21 km/l on two seperate occasions, just as an exercise to see this car's capabilities. I also wanted to test the age old myth of "kUch BHi kar LOu 12 sE ooPEr nahI dEti"

My friend get 13km/l+ from a reborn (manual) in city by using ac occasionally, not always.
He drive at 50km/h in 5th gear. I took the same car and drop the mileage to 7-8.
Rims are 17 with 215 width and 45 or 50 sidewalls not sure about side walls. And it's dropped.
It depends upon driving style a lot.
You should be ready for the circumstances when you buy a car.
