thanks and as far as the condition concern, you need to hunt them and its your luck at what condition you get them because they are not available at every shop in bilal gunj, a kind of rare item i must say but not ultra rare, crystal condition is very less, if one can find a pair in good condition i.e glass/clips not broken than you should give it a buff through any headlight cleaner but it was a luck that i found them in a mint condition before and even now

I agree.. I have the same model civic, a few weeks back a suzuki pickup guy accidentaly reversed is car into mine. There wasnt much that happened but he pushed the headlight back and unfortunately both the clips broke which are shown below.

The headlight though is in almost perfect nick (has a bump in it but is not cracked or anything). I initially thought of replacing it but then realized that there will be a difference between the new and old (since the other is 12 years old though still in fantastic nick). Getting a pair for almost 20k wasnt that appealing either ..lol

Now the two options are

Getting a pair of Stanley like yours with motorized HID's which is a very good option.
Getting the bracket fixed which has been broken though I dont have the particular bracket because it shattered absolutely and even if I find one from somewhere I am sure the strength wouldnt be good.

What would be your advise?

an advice would be the second thing, first its upto you what are you willing to do? if the light is repairable than you should go for it, it will save alot of money and your work will be done as well, on the other hand if you are willing to spend some extra amount than i shall advice you to get these oem stanley headlamps, you will love the hid cutoff and visibility. do not go for the aftermarket projections they are too bad at visibility, plus it will also give your car a jdm look of amber corners
P.S from where you are getting headlamps for 20k? from honda company i believe? if yes than they would be the simple ones and they are ripping people off..

Yup each headlamp cost 9300 or something around that as far as I remember when I asked them a few weeks back. I dont mind spending money as I like my car so thats not the particular concern. Just that I couldnt justify spending 20k on regular headlamps out of which one is in prestine condition. Let me take a look at the market in a few days. Will update you

Bought some new shoes for her.
Advan RG2, original made in japan, 17x7.5 copper bronze colour, very light in weight and coupled with Yokohama DP 215-45 tires which are in a normal condition, can do further 10-12k KM's but the wheels are in a perfect nick, never repaired/painted

I will spend the winter with these tires and will hopefully change them in the summer InshAllah..

Which tires you referring? Im not selling these at the moment as i mentioned im spending these winters with them because they can still do 10-12k, will change them in the summers If you need my old tires then most welcome, they are 16s Bridgstone Tarunza 195-55, 2011 Manuf, one of them needs repairing due to accident, rest all in perfect nick. And yes iam dying to see your es in action Thanx btw, im glad you like them..

yes im going for RS conversion, after the accident i had to replace some parts so thought to get the jdm ones. im close to finish now, hopefully this weekend i will get her back

^^ got her yesterday, now she's back to life, just a few things remaining i.e fog lamps, AC gas filling, coilovers installation, rear emblems, and detailing. will post a teaser soon but proper pics will be uploaded on sunday cause im not free to do these things before saturday so hopefully im spending the whole saturday with her InshAllah ALLAH nazar e badh se bachaye!!

Here's she is when I took her back from the workshop , dont expect so neat and clean cause we all know how a car becomes when she spend about 3 weeks in a garage.
Anyways all the major work has completed and some other works are still remaining which are going to be done before eid , on coming saturday i must say.
