Well I never heard the word comfort and speed with corolla. These words are always used for Honda.

For corolla, its reliable (rought use) and powerful (jitnay marzi banday bitha loo, phir bhi chlati hai)

About comfort, i dont like new corolla or civic "too high seats",, its irritating and tiring in long drives. for me lower seats are way to go than high seats.

weL, i really dun like new civic's seats..they are very irritating if u wana go on long drives.. but corolla makes u more comfortable.

Whoever was driving the Civic didn't know how to drive then. I've "raced" with several Altis'es (if you can really call it a race), Altis cannot keep up with the Civic.

Learning how to control the Civics throttle isn't easy since its a drive by wire and not a mechanical one like on the Altis.

Secondly @levin,

Civics seats are high? Really? I can't stand high seats like those on the Corolla but the Civics aren't high. The drivers seat is height adjustable incase you weren't aware

Corolla 2007 (japanese) is pretty comfortable, and adequatrly fast....i have had first hand experience

corolla is more comfortable than civic, but civic is faster than corolla, i wouldn`t debate the fact

However can someone tell me is the new 1.6 2008 corolla is faster than civic or slower ??

[highlight]Stop comparing 1.3 corolla wid 1.8 civic .... datz not balanced ... civic 1.8 is always compared to corolla altis or its equal rival while 1.3 corolla is compared against 1.3 civic 04 .... datz certain for sure

BTW 1.8 civic is fast and more comfortable ... i posted some videos b4 of some civics touching more then 200km/hr and m sure u cant do it wid a corolla =P

and hav chked many many times..
but yeah every has its own opinion
yeah i agree on the fact that road grip nai hai.us k liye u can lower ur car..but woh to marzi hai
and talking abbt brakes.i would definately agree on that thing too but altis brakes are more than enough.

humne chk ke the abs brakes of ma altis,cozins allion1.8, and other cozin's civic(new one)
we took cars to 60kmph,and pushed the brakes at the same time....the result was that there was only minor differnce in veryone of them.woh be inta minor tha k agar ap inchi tape le kar chk karo to ap kaho gae haan 1mm ka faraq hai..
so altis brakes are same like civic or allion etc
bohat aala brakes hain

true for pakistan corolla is more comfortable.....u see its not what a car is good at smoth roads

when it comes to village roads very dirty.....civic gets fucked cuz that car is not made for this.....n corolla ....jahan le jani ha la jo no worries

but talkin for speed........yaar civic ka match nahi.....

yaar app zara weight and hp ratio dekha kero......

abb 1.6 ko 1.8 sa app race kero to is main humara qasur nahi
